I have worked in a caregiver role as a Social Worker for the elderly for 27+ years. I have previous experience as a caregiver in a home environment as well as in an adult foster care and assisted living setting. I worked in the emergency room of a hospital for 5+ years as an aide. I worked as an EMT for 15+ years for 3 different ambulance services. So, quite extensive experience working with people.

I love this job because I love to take care of elderly people and I have been doing it for a long time. These people are very amazing with great experience and I treat them with dignity and respect . I am a person with passion and I take my job seriously to assist my clients with their daily needs. I also play a major roll when it comes to team work . I always go to work on time and i make sure to complete my duties before my shift ends.

I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. I am a great companion on my one -one cases because I love to be fulfilled at work too.

I'm a good caregiver because I attentive response to situation in a timely manner. I like being a caregiver because I like making people smile and doing little things to make a person day better. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where I have one on one interaction with others. I'm proud that I have the opportunity to make someone smile each and everyday

I am happiest and most fulfilled while caring for others. I fell in love with nursing in 1978 when I started my first job as a Nursing Assistant. I found that I was not only doing a job, I was caring for a person with an extensive life history that I could learn from. People who had family who loved them but were no longer able to care for them. I went on to get my LPN in 1986 and finally RN in 2012. I have provided care in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers, private care in homes, Home Care through agencies and have cared for my patients and their families with integrity and compassion. Aging parents have caused me to reevaluate the need for flexibility and the availability to now also provide care for them. This means the typical nursing block schedule is no longer a good fit for my families needs. I will continue to provide compassionate care for others but it will look different than it has in the past.

I am a very down to earth, kind hearted person. I have always loved taking care of people, whether it be babies/kids or the elderly. I love being able to help people and it is very rewarding being a caregiver. Giving them companionship is so rewarding, especially if they don't have family/friends nearby.

Empathy, compassion while respecting my clients' privacy and dignity is my drive as a personal supporter and cheerleader for the client and their family. I myself cared for my parents in their senior years and I understand how important this is. I have 10+ of personal and professional experience and love what I do to help.

I like to work with elderly because of their life experiences history, I care for others who needs personal care due to age, sickness or any disabilities which might make an individual not to care for themselves as once did for example; dressing, meal preparation, daily grooming, bathing (ADL'S).

I am patient kind and mindful, my mother was very sick and needed care, from how she was treated I was inspired to help the needy too as much as I can . I enjoy to be able to put a smile in someone's face from the help I can give. I am proud of being able to adopt 2 children in Africa and give them a place to call home . I have also gone through college.
