I have worked in a caregiver role as a Social Worker for the elderly for 27+ years. I have previous experience as a caregiver in a home environment as well as in an adult foster care and assisted living setting. I worked in the emergency room of a hospital for 5+ years as an aide. I worked as an EMT for 15+ years for 3 different ambulance services. So, quite extensive experience working with people.

I have a lot of love to give. I'm a very compassionate person, which is very important in this field. I have a lot of patience, willing to learn, and have nothing but respect for those I care for. I am a very passionate person who loves helping people especially those who are unable to care for themselves. I have over 8yrs of experience in health care being DSP, And CNA in vanities of settings. I have worked with with disabilities of almost all kind. Hospice, cancer, Parkinson disease, alhyzimer disease, dimension and so on.

I am happiest and most fulfilled while caring for others. I fell in love with nursing in 1978 when I started my first job as a Nursing Assistant. I found that I was not only doing a job, I was caring for a person with an extensive life history that I could learn from. People who had family who loved them but were no longer able to care for them. I went on to get my LPN in 1986 and finally RN in 2012. I have provided care in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers, private care in homes, Home Care through agencies and have cared for my patients and their families with integrity and compassion. Aging parents have caused me to reevaluate the need for flexibility and the availability to now also provide care for them. This means the typical nursing block schedule is no longer a good fit for my families needs. I will continue to provide compassionate care for others but it will look different than it has in the past.
