I first became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2001 after my first child was born. I then realized the joy I had while caring for individuals and learned to love what I did. The one on one care with individuals is the best, especially when I see their faces light up when I walk into their room. It makes me feel and know without a shadow of a doubt that I am doing my job correctly. I've learned to have patience and my compassion and empathy have increased tremendously. I have continued my knowledge with an associates in Medical Assisting. My next goal is to continue my education and receive my BSN. I currently am not working and stay at home with. I have four kids now and a loving fiance that supports my dreams in becoming a nurse.
