Hi my name is Sandra Johnson i been a caregiver for 23 years this is what I love to do. I have experience working with all types of people not just elderly.I also have experience working with hospice patients.Yes i have learn so much over the years as working as a caregiver.I am a very patience when working with my residents or anybody i come in contact with.

The elderly has a wealth of knowledge that they love to share about life and their experiences. I enjoy their appreciation for you being their caregiver and they seem so grateful. I treat them the same way I would like to be treated and the way I would like my mother to be treated if she needed care. Empathy and compassion. I am a single Mom of two Sons, 25 and 22. When they were younger, I volunteered and worked at their schools as well as coached their soccer and basketball teams. I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .
