Hello, I'm Ariel I've been working in the caregiving field for 4 years. I've worked mostly nursing homes, so I'm really interested in the one on one caregiving style. I have experience in CPR, first aid, AED training, and medication administration. I'm also familiar with memory care, worked it for 2 years. I got my STNA (state tested nursing assistant) license in 2018 through my high school's college program. I've worked for three nursing facilities and two agencies. I just love getting to know my residents, they always have such beautiful and timeless stories to tell, talking to them is truly my favorite pass time.

I've always wanted to be in health care since the age of 3. When I was in high school my mother had a stroke & I helped her with recovering. I orginally received my STNA in 1990 when I was a freshman in high school, and I have been doing that type of work since. I absolutely love taking care of people, helping them in their time of need, meeting their needs in advance, organizing their life and being a companion and a friend. I love what I do and am very passionate about it.

I love taking and helping people. Putting smiles on peoples faces and making sure that they are well taken care of. That I have been taking care of patients for 15 years and I love it and enjoy it. I became an stna in 2000, I wanted to be like my grandma a nurse but i have never made it that far because I like the line of work i do now. I just love taking care of people regardless. I am a caring person, and love what i do.

What inspired me to be a caregiver was my great-grandmother. She lived with my grandmother who was her caregiver. It inspired me to want to help other people, who may not have family members/friends who are able to provide them with care 24/7. Being a caregiver makes me smile because I know I am helping other people. I will be attending college online, starting in August to earn my BSW (Social Work). I earned my STNA while I was in High School. I attended school in the day time and at night I went to STNA school.

I enjoy speaking and talking with people I take care of learning about them making them feel that they are still person I myself have multiple sclerosis so I know how it feels to not feel like everyone else and everyone's body does a different thing it shouldn't change a person who they are just because of their age mental or physical abilities
