I have always been the caregiver in my family from my grandmother who suffered a heart attack when I was 11 up to 2016 when my mother-in-law became ill with Parkinson's. It gives me a sense of fulfillment when I make my clients smile...whether it is from cooking their favorite meal or just listening to their life stories. Since I have trained in two different modern health facilities, I am very aware of what to watch for to prevent medical emergencies. My previous clients' families have nicknamed me "Angel" because I always want to make their stressed lives easier...and to create an environment where they can ENJOY being with their loved ones again. I am proud that I am very close to obtaining my CNA license (taking the Oklahoma State Exam in August), having taken 16+ senior homecare courses and training with the very best homecare agencies. I am looking forward to using my God-given talents to help seniors enjoy their lives to the fullest.

Hello! My name is Krystal! I am 27, I have two children! I have been a caregiver since childhood, it just came natural. My uncle was handicapped, and a slight medical miracle, his continuing life surprising us every day. I spent my childhood taking care of him with family. At age 6, my cousin was in a car accident and left a quadriplegic with a severe wound in his stomach that required a wound vac, a halo, and several tubes and IV's. Carefully, I always helped with almost all of his care needed. My mother managed the Alzheimer's unit in a nursing home, I spent almost every day there after school. My passion only grew. I started CNA classes in 2010 in high school, finished in 2012 and started work in my local nursing home soon after. I've continued to work my way up, and had dreams of being a pediatric surgeon, but my children and seeing them grow up was more important than my career. I need to be here for all of their small moments. I've been working from home lately, and while I feel my current job does have a purpose, I would love to be back out there, actually caring for my people face to face. I miss the interactions and connections I build with them and their families.

After nursing school, I worked @ nursing facility . I enjoyed very much caring for the elderly. After 10yrs, working I decided, to do private,work. I'm dependable trust worthy,& honest punctual. I care very much about my professional I have worked as a caregiver for 15 to 20 years.

Each patient becomes my top priority. Their individual needs are evaluated and using my expertise from years of training, I develop relationships that make patients feel safe, secure, and well taken care of. I go over and beyond to see patient improvements each day. Sometimes this requires working with assigned medical staff to give them my care plan. i feel honored to be able to help and assist others. My compassionate nature and my love to help others drew me to this line of work. i believe it is a very important job and its also rewarding to serve the elderly and disabled.

What makes me a good caregiver, is that I will always put my patients first. I'm caring, loving, patient, and I always be there for them when they need me. What attracts me I'm being a caregiver is because I love doing it. I fell in love with that helping my grandma when I would go visit in Texas. It is what got me into pre nursing school in high school and then I became a CNA and worked at a nursing home and I loved my patients. If they needed something I would make sure to get it if something would make them happier or smile I would go the extra mile for them. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being there for them. One of my most personal achievements that I'm proud of is when I decided to go in healthcare or childcare. I love giving. I am a compassionate individual with a big heart. My goal is to make a difference in the lives that I touch as I am invited into someone's home to care for their loved one. I believe in being organized, compassionate, loving, and bringing joy to those who are chronically or terminally ill. My passion to become a caregiver, started with becoming a hospice nurse. As a result, I have formed special relationships with families' of patient's that I once care for. I enjoy being able to go home at the end of the day knowing that I made someone smile. The one thing I am most proud of, is being able to share a part of me with a complete stranger and being able to make memories that will last a lifetime for that person.
