Most of my experience has been as a private caregiver. I found my passion as a caregiver over 20 years ago when my father needed hospice and I saw the lack in the basic caregiving. I then saw a need for caregivers who actually care for the individuals and their families.

I then became a medical technician at a.c.t. pharmacy in portsmouth, va. 2006. 2009 i graduated from everest college of chesapeake, va with a massage therapy degree. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and in home care. I enjoy taking care those in need. I'm dependable, honest, hardworking, patient, fun loving, and caring. I recently moved back to south carolina and board of nursing has proof of my paper work but needed transcript from National Healthcare of greenwood, when i contacted them they said they didn't keep with records over 10yrs. Hey my name is Kaisha Houston I am 19 years old and have been a caregiver for my granny for years who recently passed in March. I recently just started to work with agencies because I did not have time before. I have been accepted into the nursing program this fall and I am so excited.
