My name is Rosa Salazar. I have experience working as a caregiver for 5 years. I enjoy assisting elderly people and have a campion to be there for them. My passion working as a caregiver is helping who need help and not be lonely.

I am originally from Columbus TX but I recently moved to Gonzales TX last year. I have been a stay at home mom to two beautiful boys since last March but I am excited and eager to start working again! I have always been described as a very bubbly person and I have never been someone who hesitates when it comes to helping others. I try my best to learn and adapt to my environment as quickly as possible. When I lived in Columbus I helped out my elderly grandpa as much as I could and learned a lot about caregiving through those experiences. Some of my favorite memories are watching old westerns with him and sitting and listening to all of his stories. I'm new to the nursing industry and recently got my license. I work at a nursing and rehabilitation facility.

My story : I was raised for a short period of time by My great nana and uncle . When they became sick, they were moved into hospice care. I recall doing everything I could to brighten their spirits and provide them happiness and peace. But at those moments, I discovered my calling and purpose. Working with the elderly senior generation now has the same implications. Working with each family, I offer the same comfort, love, and peace. I find myself caring for this generation as if they were my own family. My goal with each family is to constantly provide light to each individuals I serve. I have a job that takes patience and a compassionate heart. Experience wise I've spent years in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, private homes, and one-on-one care, learning and practicing so many skills and equipment that I'm convinced I can assist you.

After working 6 years as a Physical Therapy Assistant,decided to move to Texas.After working differents jobs,I started feeling unhappy.Decided to start working as a caregiver to be able to help others.
