Hello there! My name is Cecilia, and I am from the great state of Texas! I was born with a strong affection, empathy, and genuine interest in working with the old and senior populations! My story : I was raised for a short period of time by My great nana and uncle . When they became sick, they were moved into hospice care. I recall doing everything I could to brighten their spirits and provide them happiness and peace. But at those moments, I discovered my calling and purpose. Working with the elderly senior generation now has the same implications. Working with each family, I offer the same comfort, love, and peace. I find myself caring for this generation as if they were my own family. My goal with each family is to constantly provide light to each individuals I serve. I have a job that takes patience and a compassionate heart. Experience wise I've spent years in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, private homes, and one-on-one care, learning and practicing so many skills and equipment that I'm convinced I can assist you.

I am originally from Columbus TX but I recently moved to Gonzales TX last year. I have been a stay at home mom to two beautiful boys since last March but I am excited and eager to start working again! I have always been described as a very bubbly person and I have never been someone who hesitates when it comes to helping others. I try my best to learn and adapt to my environment as quickly as possible. When I lived in Columbus I helped out my elderly grandpa as much as I could and learned a lot about caregiving through those experiences. Some of my favorite memories are watching old westerns with him and sitting and listening to all of his stories. I can assure you, I will assist and provide companionship to your loved one with the love and respect I have for my own grandpa.

I enjoy caring for people and knowing that it helps families and loved ones. I'm looking to see if home health will benefit me. I'm patient and loving with people and enjoy making others happy. I'm new to the nursing industry and recently got my license. I work at a nursing and rehabilitation facility.

I became a part-time caregiver years ago when we discovered my dad had dementia in the 90s. I have always been a caregiver in my family . My background is in finance. Kids got to college and I decided I'd do what was in my heart! Love being a companion and helpful Guide when I'm needed in a shopping, cooking, housekeeping and overall balancing act for someone who just needs some assistance.

Home health to me is so much more than just a job. Its the ability to help people, lighten their families stress, new friendships, and to bring a little joy to them. I got started helping my G. Aunt, who was a home nurse, when I was younger with our own family ailments. My uncle an Gma both had a long fight with cancer; My father had multiple sclerosis; my mom a diabetic/work aholic with heart issues; and I also learned all about dementia an Alzheimer's first hand from caring for my G. Gma. Understanding what the patient is actually going through is essential, but Understanding the hardships the family goes through caring for a loved one is a important key in there loved ones care. Number one rule an my most important one is I always care for a client as if I were caring for my own family. I treat clients and patients as I wish to be treated, honesty, patience, and respect. After graduating high school I worked for hospice care for 2 years before taking a much needed break, (it hurt to much when it was there time to move on). Almost 6 years ago I went back to the same company but chose home health care instead . I worked with them 3 years as a special attendant. The rules became a headache to keep up with their contestant changing so I decided to go elsewhere. My current employer I have been with for almost 3 years. I am a hard worker and I learn fast. I have experience with most medical equipment including: hoyer lift -auto/manual, catheters/cholostomy bags, blood pressure cuffs/pulse ox/thermometers, oxygen machine and portable oxygen bottles, walkers and wheelchairs/electric scooters , bed alarms and hospital beds, etc. I do document visits with clients so families will be able to refer to book for any questions or concerns they may have about any shift, past or current.

I'm a great care giver cause I actually care about the person I'm taking care of. Been in the business for over 15 years. Have worked in side people homes but have also worked at nursing homes for a long time also.

I've always felt that being a Care Giver was the most awarding job I've ever had or will have. It's personal and that's what drew me in the field. I am the type of person that gets joy from helping others especially those who cannot help themselves. I am personally happy of having the gift of serving others and I'm very proud of that. I look forward to helping you or your loved one just as I would do for my own.

After working 6 years as a Physical Therapy Assistant,decided to move to Texas.After working differents jobs,I started feeling unhappy.Decided to start working as a caregiver to be able to help others. I am a person that is very caring,empathetic,hardworking and reliable.I also love and enjoy helping others.
