I took care of my father and grandfather in there last months of life. This is what gave me the desire to become and caregiver. I love being able to help clients be able to stay in their homes and provide the championship they may be needing. When covid first hit I did around the clock care for one client until she passed cause she had no family members.

I am 21 years old, I am currently out of school on winter break. I was at Kirkwood Community College for 2 years, I finished most of my prerequisites, now I am back in the Quad Cities, to get a lot more experience until I'm back at Black Hawk in the fall! I have been working with the elderly since I was 16, I have worked in assisted living/and nursing homes but I'm home care is my favorite. I like to be in their home, where they feel happy. So they can feel comfortable at all times.
