The process of choosing a caregiver is somewhat challenging so here is some about me : Getting to work with families has become a joy for me - My father was ill and I helped him in the last weeks of his life and found fulfillment in helping him when He couldn't help himself. I am Tiffany Wampler! I'm 20 years old, and a full time college student. I have always had a dream to care for/treat patients. I have worked in the nursing field since I was old enough to have a job. I work 2 years in the nursing home and decided to go to home health when I moved for college. I enjoy being the patients person, when they are felling down and out I want to be the one to give them a reason to smile. I am most proud of my personal skills, I have never met a stranger and have been described as selfless and genuine.

I am a mom of 3 kids one of which is special needs. Caregiving and skilled nursing is something I am very passionate about. I have worked in nursing homes and don't feel like the patients/residents get the care or compassion they deserve. I will let my patient/client be as dependent as they can and be there to help with what ever is needed.

Being a caregiver is all I've ever known! I have a special needs son that is now 17 and thriving as best he can and my father was hit by a drunk driver that severed his spinal cord leaving him without the use of his legs. Being a caregiver is something that I feel God choose me for. It's my gift!

I'm a great caregiver because I been caregiving most of my life since I was 18 years old, I am a fun loving/kind person to anyone in need of help, I understand and emphasize with people in need that can not do for themselves. I love people. I'm a great listener& a great cook and a great hose keeper. Being a caregiver is something I enjoy I do my best with love and kindness for people to give them hope. My personal achievements are taking care of my mom and aunt when therms desperately needed me, they both are in wheelchairs and trough the years I helped both maintain a healthy fun lifestyle, also I am a mother of 4 children I am so proud to have raised them all. My other achievements is I am firm believer of Jesus Christ and I look to him daily to be a better and good person everyday, with a strong faith. I have been in home healthcare for over 20 years. I love being in home health care and being able to help patients enjoy their life. I became a caregiver to help make a difference in patient lives. I am skilled in a variety of care, including transfers, bathing dressing, med, reminders, total care, dementia, insulin injections, and a variety of other skills. My patients have ranged from quadriplegics to dementia patients. Caring for, listening, and helping my patients brings a lot of joy to my life to be able to see them smile and laugh fills my heart.

I think I'm a great caregiver because I genuinely care about others. I treat people the way I want myself or my family members treated. I have enjoyed a 32 year career as a Respiratory Therapist primarily with children in a hospital setting, but being a caregiver doesn't have age restrictions! I am now an active empty nester and am looking to continue caring for others outside of the hospital setting in a little more flexible way. :)

I enjoy caregiving and making residents feel safe and comfortable when coming into a new environment they are not use to. And being able to help them do things that they may not be able to do.

I have a quieter personality preferring a one-on-one relationship with people. I recently obtained a Masters's Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Public Health.
