I'm a very outgoing person. Peoples person. I love helping others, love love love the elderly! I'm proud of my son, he's 2 and he keeps me motivated the most.

I take pride in the job that I do. Taking care of someone is personal to me. We are all going to get old one day and need help. When you can see things from their point of you, it creates a great working enviroment.

I'm Brandi Bianca Waters. I'm 27 years old. I have three beautiful children. My oldest is girl, London she is 9. My middle is a boy, Brayln he is 5. My youngest is a boy, Rodney he is 3 better known as Third. I'm a proud dedicated, compassionate, motivated young mom. I've started my passion for caregiving in 2013 in August. I've always wanted to take care of people . I've watched my blessed grandmother do it all her life. I'm the perfect caregiver for any family because of my patience and flexibility. I'm a great caregiver because empathize. I build a connection with my patient to create a sense of ease for their personal fears and discomforts. While working on my Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Secondary Education at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, my paternal grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Having been a certified home health aide (while my children were young), I was the natural choice to care for my grandmother. While caring for her, I studied everything I could find on dementia and attended care conferences and symposiums in the tri-state area to learn as much as I could about the disease process and adaptations for care. When she passed away in 2005, I began looking for career options working with this very special population. I have been an Assisted Living dementia programmer/trainer/support group facilitator ever since. I have also had extensive experience with hospice, MS, dementia, and paraplegic care through Bayada Nurses, Inc. in Toms River, NJ. I have been a resident of Danville, VA for 4 years now; transferring to a sister building of the same assisted living facility that I worked for in NJ. In October 2014 I completed my Bachelors Degree in Human Services and Gerontology, summa cum laude, from Kaplan University. My goal is to become a fulltime dementia programming teacher; training healthcare providers, community service workers, lawyers, doctors, and emergency care providers.

I am interested in obtaining a part time C.N.A. position in your home. I have all the qualities to be a valuable asset to any C.N.A. position. I especially enjoy geriatrics and the mentally challenged. I am a caring and empathetic person by nature. I listen more than talk. I am helpful to client and family to create a pleasant and enjoyable day for everyone. I also have a sweet natured, clean &pleasant 2yr Lab mix I rescued and call her my therapy dog. She is no trouble to bring on overnights or longer shifts.
