Hello my name is Anna Caldwell I was born in Seattle, Washington and raised in Portland Oregon. I moved to Austin, Tx 4 years ago. I am the second child of 5. I am a very caring and loving person raised mostly by my grandmother. I started my care providing over 30 years ago and I have never wanted to do anything else . It just comes natural to me , I love spending time helping out and doing for someone in need. I love animals I have a little dog myself. Don't mind helping with pets.
I am a Hispanic single retired mother, grandma and friend. I love people especially children and the elderly. I get along with everyone and am friendly and energetic. I decided to start applying for part time jobs to stay active and help others. I have raised 5 children and still help with grandchildren when needed. I work around my yard and like walking and riding my bike around town. I have helped care for my older sister with parkinsons in the past until hospice came in to help. I would love to work weekdays or evenings if needed, maybe as caregiver, companion or to run errands.
Because I enjoyed and love working with people. Do the best to help them what they need. I enjoyed being care giver I treat my residents like my own family. In 1981, when I was a five-year-old child, my mother became gravely sick with an illness her doctors could not diagnose. She often spent four to five months at a time in the hospital, recover enough to come home, but would fall ill again and again with no explanations. This went on for approximately seven years. During the time my mom was home my two sisters, brother, and I did everything we could to make her comfortable that we were capable of doing as children. Yet, seeing my mom in pain and so much discomfort instilled within me a tremendous sense of empathy and compassion. Despite the short periods of time she spent at home between hospitalizations, I developed a deep sense of appreciation for my mother because I missed her terribly. Thankfully, she finally came home and the relief was immense. My grandmother lived with us for 15 years due to her deteriorating health as a result of diabetes, cataracts, loss of hearing, and the loss of the ability to clothe and prepare her own food. I helped to dress her in the morning, attend to her left foot which she almost lost to gangrene. But we managed to heal it and she only lost her left big toe. She was still able to walk albeit with a walking chair. I loved to bake so I would make special desserts for her which she was allowed small portions. It was a great activity for us to bond together. She could watch me make it and give me tips. In college, I became a Caregiver for a quadriplegic man. Although, I didn't have experience caring for a paralyzed man, Michael told me he would explain what he needed on the job. My morning shift started at 7AM and I bathed his nude body, medicated his bedsores, emptied his catheter, performed physical therapy, and fed him his breakfast. If he had chores to complete during my shift, I'd dress him then move him from his bed to his wheelchair and into in his van. Once we finished his chores, I would put him back in his bed, remove his clothing, and clean his apartment.
I'm a kind person who cares about others well being. I feel that love heals everything. I want to be able to bring joy to those who need it. I've been working with people with disabilities for 35 years. I just recently lost a client at 99 years of age. I'm looking for someone new to help on a daily basis. Thank you Margie Ford
I am a caring, loyal, reliable, patient, positive & trustworthy person. I love & enjoy care-giving, spending time serving & helping --working with families to care for their loved ones. I have had many experiences with my own family members dating back to 1994 as well, so I can completely understand & relate to what other families are going through. Those experiences & my long & extensive years working with many other families over time is what makes me an excellent caregiver. I have excellent work / personal references available immediately upon request.
I have been involved in healthcare for over forty years. I believe everyone should be treated with respect and dignity and TLC. I am patient, compassionate, and cheerful and outgoing. I have worked along side hospice nurses and know how important it is to work with the families as well. My philosophy is that my clients, as well as their families, are treated as loved members of my family. I have been blessed by all that I have worked with and they have inspired me as well. I advocate for my clients and their families so that they can seek the best solutions and get help for any issues they are having. We all need to have someone in our corner. At the end of the day, I am humbled and grateful for everything in my life.

1.I enjoy working with the senior before I went private, that how i became a caregiver. what I like being a caregiver is when I see that my patient is so please with my job. my beingcaregiver, and doing the extra miles that I put on the client or patient. that put a smile on thier faces. I'm quiet, hard working, love to cook, bake, dressing up my patient and making them look pretty fixing up thier hair, and enjoy gardening.
I became a caregiver to share my heartfelt support and lend that helping hand that my clients may need. I have been in the health care field for over 20 years I started when i was 18 yrs. old so it's definitely in my DNA! What I love about caregiving is the feeling i get knowing I have put a smile on a face and lent a helping hand. It just warms my heart to know that I have been instrumental in a persons day to day care and healthcare needs. A proud moment for me was when I walked across the stage to accept my CNA license and my Medical Assistant license. It was at those moments that i knew i can now pursue what I love to do and do it professionally! I'm a very outgoing person who loves God and Life and Family. Being honest, reliable and patient is what i stand on. I love to read books , take long walks and go fishing. I attend church on Sundays and I love to talk and share knowledge. Health and wellness is also a passion of mine and anything Organic! I love being outdoors traveling, museums and just learning anything new! I'm here to serve and help others all while doing it with a smile..
