Hi I'm Tamar I enjoy being a great caregiver the thing I enjoy most is getting to know my clients learning their history and listening to stories I gain alot of wisdom. I'm reliable caring and honest. I treat all clients as family. Once the family meet me they instantly fall in love. I'm very respectful and will provide clients with the upmost respect. I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that I take care of all my patients as if they were my own family and make sure they are comfortable and most importantly I listen to their needs. I first became interested in health care when my mother was ill and needed care herself and realized that I had a real passion for helping others. I enjoy knowing that the family can be at ease knowing I'm there taking care of their loved ones. At Long Beach Memorial I was know as the "sitter whisper" because whenever they had a difficult patient they would alway assign me that patient and by the end of the day the patient would no longer require restraints or was completely compliant and friendly. They always ask what was my secret and I would say I simply listen to what their needs are.

I am compassionate and empathetic, genuinely caring for my fellow man. I am a good listener who pays attention to detail, and I pride myself on being self-sufficient. I have completed training in various courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, including topics such as the last phases of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical studies, Alzheimer's and dementia basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, among others. As the oldest and only girl among four siblings, I inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later moved into adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and different parts of the world. Each person is unique, and their shared experiences often come with valuable knowledge and lessons. For me, there is no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday, knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

I am a very caring person, sensitive to people's condition and do my work diligently making sure that the privacy of my clients is always protected. As I looked after my nun with a stroke till she passed, I got drawn more to offering more help to people who need them most. I enjoy talking and listening to various stories of my clients since they are very insightful and my personal achievement was when I had to do a CPR on someone to prevent death.

Love taking care of people my whole life, I always was a people person,I was told by my peers that I have a gift and that this is my calling, this is my passion, I'm proud that I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of with different cultures and experience with different kinds of patients at providence hospital for 20 years it was a wonderful experience for me and a great place to work.

I became a caregiver twenty years ago when my mother-in-law was ill. It is God's work, and I get fulfillment out of giving back to those who always gave of themselves to us. My father became a quad when I was 14 yrs. old making me realize theirs a high job satisfaction when helping people. With 32 years of experience with diabetic, dementia , cardiac, pulmonary , stroke with dysplasia. l know adapting quickly to clients needs is paramount.
