I have passion for this job because,my sister got blind and she became disabled for the rest of her life.Most clients were not born disabled but due to some issues along their lives,made them be disabled.I enjoy working with these clients as my family,because they need to be treated with love ,respect and dignity and let them know that,they are important in society too.I am available day time shift too,in case you guys need a day time staff also,my pay is negotiable also. I have cared for my family and family friends for years. All, I want to do is help those who can't help themselves like they use to do. The way my mother cared for me when, I was young. She gave me the heart to care for others. The smiles on their faces when i can make them happy. Seeing my family walk again after their knee surgeries.

What makes me a good caregiver is empathy and a caring heart. What attracted me to caregiving was a need for a compassionate caregiver for a family member of my own and what a difference it made in a difficult situation. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people/ families it connects me to others and their gratitude is so rewarding it lets me know I'm doing the right thing. I became a full time caregiver about 8 years ago, and did it part time for about 12 years prior. My nature is to nurture and I really enjoy and appreciate helping others. Hello, I have been a nursing assistant for approximately 28 years. I have worked in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, hospitals and home health. I recently moved to Georgetown, Ky after working in Cincinnati in a cardiovascular intensive care unit. I am looking for a position as a caregiver of either a senior or a family. I am great with children and even provided day care services in my home some years ago. I am honest, loyal, hardworking, optimistic, cheerful, prompt, and a non-smoker. I have reliable transportation and am comfortable with pets. I am seeking long-term employment with a team-oriented family or senior. Hello all, I became a caregiver 5 years ago when my grandparents were diagnosed with terminal cancer, back-to-back I quit my job, moved into their house and took care of them day in and out until they both eventually passed away at which time I realized I found my calling. I absolutely adore my career and I don't believe I could ever enjoy anything other than this! I have learned so much in these short 5 years of Care-giving, from being able to tell if a non-verbal person is in some sort of distress to how to help a friend cope with being diagnosed with a terminal illness and so much more in between. I've had the best years of my life helping people make the most out of the time they have left here, with us! I am a wonderful care-giver, who wakes up everyday eager to go to work to see the friends I have made and am always so excited to help people live happily and comfortably. I am so proud of the person I've become because every person I've ever taken care of has molded me into who I am today and they've impacted me in ways I could never describe, I'm a better person everyday because of my job. I will always do for the elderly because they deserve only the best care possible!
