Passionate about quality and caring home care for those in need and desiring to remain in familiar surroundings during their golden years. I currently care for two patients. One with physical and neurological disorders and the other a post surgical care patient. These positions will be ending soon. My start date with a new client is flexible. I am an avid amateur chef. My interests include first and foremost family, then genealogy, history, reading, writing short stories, journaling, gardening and non-political current events. I cared for my mother in home during the last six of her 94 years. She suffered with dementia, diabetes (insulin dependent), arthritis, incontinence and mobility issues. She wanted to spend her last days in her own home for which I am very thankful I was able to be instrumental in granting her wish. I have spent 30+ years, off and on, in the health care industry in positions of nurse aide and home health care aide. I value life and respect end of life wishes. I hope that as I age that I will have the respect, care, empathy and loving commitment to my care as I provide to my patients.

I always found myself reaching out to help someone I Love children I had a baby that was left in my store and I adopted him. He was 6 mos old and Now 30 a very find Young Man, I have raised many of children..
I care for others as if they are my own family. My way of thinking is treat them as I'd want someone caring for my grandparent/parent to be treated. I became a caregiver after watching my grandfather being cared for. I love being a caregiver. Since childhood I wanted to be a nurse but since becoming an stna I prefer the one on one vs just giving them their medication. I completed my two year medical assistant degree.
My name is Tiara I'm 25 years old, when I was 18 my grandmother fell ill and there was nobody that we felt could give her the around the clock skilled care she needed without going into a facility (which nobody would have allowed to happen) so I began caring for her myself, following under the direction hospice had given. I began turning her as needed aiding in her mobility so she wouldn't lose the use of her legs, hand over hand feeding her. Anything she needed I was there and I realized I didn't just like to help but instead it gave me a good feeling to know I was doing more then just assisting I was a companion. She was no longer"down in the dumps" it's a wonderful feeling. I'm a very honest easy going person, I've got a habit of always seeing the brighter side. I enjoy reading and cooking in my free time. Im currently awaiting my test for my cna certification and soon after I will be bridging to LPN.

Hi there! My name is Charla Webb & I have been a private caregiver for over 15 years now. I am a single Mom of 3 AMAZING teenage boys that are my life! I graduated from College in 2002 with my Nursing degree, but shortly after found out my Sister had Cancer. I helped care for her & then shortly after my Father as well. The time I spent caring for them made me realize my purpose... caregiving. I had obtained the medical knowledge needed from College & the other requirements that cannot be taught: Compassion & the desire to help others has always been in my heart! So, that is how I realized my calling & came to be what I love doing... a Caregiver. I can work 24/7 live-in or out, any days/hours. I have a few colleagues like myself that (if available), could help cover 24-hour care should you ever require or desire. I try my best to make your load lighter & your days brighter! I have experience working with Patients with: Alzheimer's, Dementia, Diabetes, Cancer, Strokes, Aneurisms, Paralization, Special Needs (Adults & Children), & more. Some Patients just wanted a warm body to "be there" to ensure they were ok, that they didn't fall or get hurt trying to cook & it gives them peace of mind & their families as well! I am a very energetic person & keep myself busy helping in any way needed. I don't mind doing light housework, cooking, transporting to Dr. appts, grocery store etc. I'm very organized & prompt & feel this type of work especially requires those skills along with empathy, patience, observing, communicative & most importantly POSITIVITY! Caregiving requires you to have a certain level of compassion & a true desire to help. I admit that I do get attached to my Patients as it's hard not to! I would feel it an absolute honor & privilege to give you/your loved one my VERY best care. I have a list of references if needed & would love to talk with you further. My cell number is 864 359 7759, I look forward to hearing from you! Have a great day!

Growing up my mother was a private-duty caregiver and well-known in the senior community. She was also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and served on its board. I remember when I was off from school she would take me along to deliver meals, I'll never forget the excitement on the peoples faces as they answered the door. I also noticed how much time she would take with each person. I knew then I wanted to follow in her footsteps. I enjoy interacting with my clients and learning from them as well. Seeing them smile or getting better from the care that was given, well... that's a reward in itself. A personal acheivement related to caregiving was when my mother and I was hired to provide 24 hour care for a 96 year old lady. We were told by her family this would be a short term job and we were to just keep her comfortable. My mother taught me her caring ways and to have a lot of patience with this particular client along with her techniques of daily care. This client lived another 3 years! Her family was always amazed with the exceptional care we gave their mother. I have a letter of recommendation from one of the daughters. A little about myself; I like to write poetry, love my dog, taking long walks and swimming. I believe you are never fully dressed without a smile.
I am a Practical Nurse with 30 years of experience. I have worked in various Nursing Homes in Long Term Care and Rehabilitation. I also worked as an Office Nurse for 15 years. My experience includes Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Family Practice. My Nursing License is currently not active due to caring for my elderly parents who have both passed away and so I was not actively employed and did not work the required number of hours for an active license. I feel that with my many years of experience in Nursing and my passion and love of caring for those in need I can be a akilled, warm, caregiver.
