What makes me a good caregiver is that I'm reliable,I have patience for my residents,I'm trustworthy, flexible and I have compassion for them to let them know I'm there to help them anyway I can.Growing up in a family of medical professionally I surely thought that after school that is what I wanted to do.After going to work with my mom helping her, volunteering at her job I loved it.I took care of my aunt and aid the sick in her home.Being surrounded on a daily basis by this kind of environment is what are me want to become a cna/caregiver of 11yrs,you have to want to like what you do.The moments when you can reflect back and see how you have helped the elderly is what caregiving is all about.Being a cna for 11years has helped me in so many ways,I've worked in nursing homes, private duty, hospitals etc.I love what I do in helping each client I have come in contact with.Taking care of sick people that needs my help really gives me joy in my heart and let me know they need people to work for them that care.My personal achievement would be I went back and got my CMA license to pass medication, and one day I'm going to go for my LVN license.

What makes me a great caregiver is my passion to take care of others. The continuity of care I provide allows me to feel like family taking care of family. Many of my past patients have requested me personally. I became a caregiver over ten plus years ago caring for my maternal grandmother who was paraplegic. I was also a hospice caregiver for my paternal grandmother until her death eight years ago. Now I take care of my 11 year old daughter who suffers from lupus. God assigned me to the business of caring. I love being a caregiver because it fulfills my assignment from God. It completes me to know that I've assisted someone in their daily life and hopefully I've made a difference for them. The personal achievement I'd like to share is that my daughter was diagnosed eight months into my Patient Care Technician program meanwhile, I graduated on the deans list with full academic honors and a 4.0 GPA. Glory to God. Nursing is my passion and I intended on getting my BSN within the next two years
A heart of love and compassion, with the mindset to make another human smile in mist of pain would be my greatest achievement. Life is a gift wrapped and no one knows exactly what it is...our life is confronted with various health challenges that we never know what to expect. As a caregiver it my joy to be a source of blessing to another human like me, who life has thrown challenge which they cannot control. Love is the greatest gift of life.
I am a compassionate, dependable and trustworthy CNA. I love being able to provide that one on one care to families that are in need of explicit care for their love ones. I am a non-smoker with no kids at home; so therefore, my schedule is very flexible. To be able to provide that individualized care is an honor to me. I have prior experience with both providing care at home and assisted living facilities.
