I got started in healthcare at 15 years old. I started by taking care of my mom, as she had mini strokes & had to go to therapy. I would go to therapy with my mom & then help her with therapy at home, then I helped my dad get his stuff ready to go to work every morning. After my daddy left for work I'd take a nap just before going to school. I enjoy being around elderly people, having conversations, helping them with daily tasks & being a companion to them. I've been to school to be a CNA, a Certified Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, Emergency Medical Technician & hopefuly one day finish achieving my RN degree. I'm also a mom of four grown children & I have nine grandbabies. I enjoy taking care of people of all ages. I specialize in caring for people with disabilities & Alzheimers/Dementia disease. When it come to helping someone, my heart goes out. My number rule is placing myself in ones shoes and saying how would I want someone to be if I needed the care that I'm giving to the other person. Anyone I've ever meet to liking to me very quick. I have a passionate for taking care of people, I love to make anyone feel like their needs and life matter, and they deserve to have proper care. Hello! I am an dependiable, trustworthy, lovable, respectful woman. I am loyal to my work and dedicated to be the best caregiver for any family.I took my route into the caregiver field because when I worked at APF, I fell in love with assisting the children with the things they could not do for themselves anymore. I enjoy assisting others and making them feel as if they are still independent with everyday life skills.
