I have always had a passion for helping seniors even as a very young adult. I cared for my grandmother with love and patience, but always with the respect and dignity that she deserved. I feel most comfortable when in the caregiving position. My strengths are empathy, compassion and patience..always with a smile! I am very reliable and punctual. I have extensive experience working with seniors in many different capacities, from parkinsons, MS, alzheimers, dementia, stroke, and wheelchair bound. I have worked in hospital settings as a CNA, nursing homes, hospice centers, and assisted living centers. I helped with all ADL's, including bathing, transfers, errands, meal prep, toileting, light housekeeping and engaging in social activities with clients including walks, cards and games! I would love the opportunity to help your loved one remain independent in their own home while providing safe care and companionship to them!

Hello! I hope you're doing well? Here's a bit about me: I have a total of 3 1/2 years of professional experience working with seniors. I worked in an adult family home for 2 years. I cared for seniors between the ages of 68 and 84 in large groups of 3-6 seniors. I also have experience with cancer recovery, when I worked as a private homecare assistant for a year. I have great references, live in West Seattle and currently doing the last year of my early childhood development degree part time and online. I take pride in what I do and would love to work with a family. I'm a very nurturing and bubbly person, very responsible and I enjoy reading, writing, dancing, singing, watching movies and driving. Loving and caring has become a purpose for me in my life. After taking care both of my parents first was my mother and then my father. I did everything that I see fit to make them enjoy the last of their days. Sharing that experience through service relive the last days of my parents. The accomplishment of serving others gives me the blessing of doing something good. I am doing my job as caregiver with that good feeling it's my own .

A personal achievement I am most proud of is my volunteer work at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital where I was assigned to the Oncology Unit and working just to make the children on that unit love, play, or do artwork taught me how precious life is and how even the smallest kindness matters more than we know. I have been in the medical field for 37 years I now live in Chandler Az since 2017 Dec. My wife and myself moved here to be closer to our younger grandchildren. Wanting to be here to see them grow . I was an NCT X-ray tech / Medical Assistant in Texas , as laws different here in Az, so I've found work here in Az with and orthopedic physician.But after COVID-19 my hours where cut back . But since Oct 2020 I got on board with the United States Postal Service here in Gilbert Az . But I'm only given 2 days during the week . So lm looking for PRN , Pool hours . I've worked in Texas with a Cancer client , then later went into Hospice, then passed away 2/2008 and another patient later whom had a severe stroke and unable to walk , they passed away 2/2017 . I've cooked , fed client , assisted family member to showering patients, given medication doses everyday , take vitals, transfer patients from bed to wheelchair, use Hoyer lift , transfer client to their doctors appts . I have- passion to help anyone in need .
