Caregiver for over 3-4 years. I have worked in healthcare field for 8 years in and out of hospital facilities as a contracted surgical tech. My main concern is giving care to the families loved ones and help ease the day. I do have expat with hospice, nursing homes, Alzheimer, dementia and many other medical conditions.

Ive been a CNA for 20 yrs, received my license in North Carolina in 2001 and in Virginia in 2009. I believe the most important thing that makes me a great CNAs is patience and understanding. The reason why I became a CNA is I find joy in the elderly. They are knowledgeable, they make you laugh,and you can learn alot from them. I get great joy in seeing the smiles on their faces because they're pleased with me.

I have been a caregiver since I was young received my certification in 1996 and still have it in CNA (25yrs) and also have my RMA (11yrs) I have some training of PN I have a lot of gifts in the medical field

I have been working as a Licensed CNA over 20+ yrs , when taking care of my residence i look at them as my family member, meaning i would give them good quality care show them love and respect with dignity, what attracted me to being a caregiver i have watched my family member with dementia and my aunt needed a break because it can become overwhelming at times. I enjoy making my residents happy and comfortable, i have achieved a lot by going to school for mental health and doing medical assistance, ,

I started doing home care in June 2009 as a Nurse Assistant/ PCA , I mainly did private duty cases overnight 11pm-7am and I really enjoy it. It was hard at times but i enjoy taking care of my clients , making sure they were fed, bathed, and had a good night rest. Most of my home care clients had dementia or was recovering from surgery or some sort. I started doing homecare when i was temporary taking care of my grandmother while my parents were at work , after i graduated from high school . i would have to say that was a personal achievement of mine , to get my Nurse Assistant/PCA certification after helping caring for my grandmother.

I love taking care of the sick, I am a very loving and caring person, I have been a CNA for 18 years n I plan to further my nursing career I am a mother of two boys n three grandkids I love taking care of my patients they are my family, Sometimes I go and beyond ,but that's ok, I know at the end of the day I know they are taking care of and they are happy n comfortable. Also I work in hospice n also a Med. Tech I been doing that over 15 years.... I'm looking for a late shift overnight case..... Non Smoker

I am Tammy Pinkston. I have cared for my grandmother while she was sick and passing from cancer. I also assisted my Aunt in her successful battle with cancer. I have worked and care for children and adults with mental health issues.

I have 2 certificates for personal care and a certificate for completion of dementia class. Since 2011 I've had experience with assisting clients with bathing, toileting, cooking, feeding, transferring, light housekeeping, companionship, etc. I am a licensed and insured driver as well. I'm dependable, trustworthy, caring and compassionate and I take my job very seriously. I truly enjoy working with the elderly and it shows through my work, my clients fall in love with me as I do with them. I have clients as references if need be and I'm also open to any other questions or concerns. I stopped caregiving Nov 2016 to try something different and currently work as lead csr for a company but I want to get back to my passion of caregiving. I am available Monday through Friday 9a-6p and some Saturdays. I just ask to be allowed time to put in 2wks notice with my current employer.
