I've been in this type of work since 1987 I enjoy helping the elderly and I enjoy assisting them with activities errands shopping and all of their personal needs. I have had experience with medication management pallet of care diabetic blood sugars injections dialysis COPD nebulizer treatments trach's and G-tube feedings orthopedic issues total knee replacement total hip replacements I've gone to therapy with patients.

I became a caregiver when i took care of my grandmother when she became ill and was put on hospice i cared for her for the last 6 yrs of her life on hospice care.. I then moved to Houston to care for my Mother in law who was diagnosed with stomach cancer i also provided total care for her on hospice.. Being a caregiver actually fills a part of my life i don't have any more my grand mother.. I really enjoy my job as a caregiver.. I provide the best care possible and treat all my patients with respect and tender loving care as i would want my family to be treated ..i have worked in and out of hospitals nursing homes and rehabilitation centers..I can work live in or out evenings and over nights, respite care. dementia, Alzheimer, an ADL's, memory loss, medication, peg tube, companionship, Colostomy, live in or out, wound care, light house cleaning, meal prep. hands on care . I have faithfully, compassionately and lovingly cared for people consecutively for 27yrs. I have done Home Health, Private Duty, Companion Care and Live-In. For the past 5 1/2 years/24/7 I was the only caregiver for a quadriplegic client on a ventilator. Honest, kind, caring, loyal, trustworthy, reliable, dependable., punctual and passionate. Hello, my name is Tiffany. I am currently looking for a home health job as a CNA. I have over nine years of experience as a CNA and over four years as a CMA. My CMA is currently expired but I am in the process of renewing it.I am BLS and CPR certified through the American Red Cross. In addition to my CNA license, I also have my EKG certification. I have been with my current employer, an acute psychiatric and chemical dependency facility, for 2 years. During this time I have obtained certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention and Prevention as well as Handle with Care. I have experience providing care for clients ages 5 years through late adulthood. I am currently pursuing a BSN degree to become a Registered Nurse. My availability is open Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays. My schedule is flexible right now as I am currently working prn (as needed) at my current employer.
