I am very caring and loving. I have over 15 years of experience as a caregiver. I love people! What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping in whatever the patient needs help with I will deliver my all and most importantly take care for them. I feel a great satisfaction when i know i was able to do for someone that needed my help. I have always been very compassionate towards people but when my grandma got a stroke a few years back I really understood how hard it is to trust someone with your loved one. She is one of the main reasons why I take great care and take pride in what I do. I am a nursing student because of it and I'm proud of it.
I earned my Nursing Assistant Certification right out of high school in 2005. I've also worked in several nursing homes in New Orleans, LA from 2005-2012. My life's passion for practicing as a caregiver and working in the healthcare field has been seriously rewarding physiologically. Helping families and efficiently managing complex tasks is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver.
I love caring for others, I have been told that I am a very patient and caring. I believe you should treat others with respect and compassion no matter with their physical or mental state may be. I have always been a caregiver starting with babysitting. I'm know in my family as the baby whisper. I enjoy knowing that I was able to help someone that needed help, but helping them in a way that still gives them their independence. I am proud that I can help someone accomplish a small task like brushing their teeth themselves or being able to use a walker instead of a wheelchair to take a few steps. Seeing someone feel they have the confidence to do something that seems so simple makes me feel like I have personal achievements everyday.
I am a very punctual person with lots of patience and smiles when dealing with clients especially seniors. I have over 10years experience as a care giver outside the U.S, I have more than 3 years experience in the U.S, caring for clients with Alzheimer and seniors generally. I love taking care of seniors as well as putting smiles on their faces. I have had four different clients who wouldn't talk or get out of bed with other caregivers but did talk, eat and get out of bed with me. I was awarded the best caregiver of the year from Griswold home care. Giving care to some one who can't care for themselves is a passion that I have

I always have loved what I do.
I've been in the healthcare field for almost 10yrs. My motto is to be the caregiver that I want in the future. I've worked in many nursing homes, assisted living and memory care facilities. When I worked at autumn Leaves as a CNA, I was offered the position as a Life Engagement Specialist. Within my new position, my role included conducting activities and exercises. When I started the exercise routine, I made some changes to make it more fun for everyone. Within 3months, it went from 20% participation to 60%. I've worked with all type of patients and residents and also understand that this change is not only on the client but also effects the family members as well. My goal is to pay it forward for those who are in need.
My major objective for becoming a caregiver is to make a difference in people's lives. People need a doctor to diagnose and treat their diseases and ailments, they need a nurse to administer medication and treatment when they are sick. However, at all times they need a caregiver to listen to them, attend to their everyday needs and treat them with compassion. That is where I come in. What I like about being a caregiver is that it affords me the opportunity to use what I have, the skill, knowledge, experience coupled with love, honesty and integrity to help people in need. One personal achievement I am proud of is the completion of the NRCPT Phlebotomy Technician's certificate and yet, rather than sit down to do venipuncture, I chose to do what I like most--care for people. I have worked in various aspects of the healthcare system. Overseas, I worked as pharmacy technician, medical assistant and nursing assistant for eight years. Here in the United States I have taken care of different kinds of patients especially the geriatric population and those with Alzheimer's disease as a professional certified by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. I am very reliable, dependable and both a team player and team leader. I do my job with integrity and honesty. Moreover, I take the job personal in that I view the patient as if he/she was my father/grandfather, mother/grandmother, uncle/aunty.
I love what I do. If you don't love what you do your not going to serve the individual adequately. I am a very honest, empathetic and a very patient person when it comes to serving others. As being a caregiver each individual that you have the pleasure of serving, you must make sure that each individual knows that their respect and dignity is at the forefront of me serving them. Serving others in need is what attracted me to being a caregiver. It gives me a genuine sense of joy knowing that I'm able and willing to being that helping hand. Everyone is not built to be a care giver and there are caregivers that are not there for the right reasons. I love seeing the look of gratitude on families faces when they see and know that their love ones are being taken great care of and it's done with Love!! Working on getting my Residential Assistant Living Facility license.
I love caring for people. I have been a caregiver the majority of my life. Along with working as a caregiver currently, I was my maternal grandmothers caregiver while she had Alzheimer's until she passed in November 2015. I then became a caregiver to my paternal grandmother who had liver cancer for a few months until she passed in November of 2016. I have taken care of or been a companion of many others for over 20 years. I like giving back and helping those that are unable to help themselves. I treat my clients and take care of them like they are my family. I like to talk about just about anything and love to hear about their lives. I enjoy seeing a smile on their faces because they have someone to talk to and listen to them and help them.
I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. Also I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel can get along well with a variety of elders. Like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. Doing a variety of tasks in a day. Love making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in attention to detail.
Very passionate, reliable caregiver. I have seven years of experience with the elderly, individuals with mental health issues, as well as those with disabilities. I like the flexibility being a caregiver provides and have always enjoyed taking care of and helping others. I like meeting new people and building relationships. I currently work fulltime for United Healthcare but I am free most evenings after 430 pm and weekends. If my schedule fits your current needs please do not hesitate to send me a message, I look forward to working with you.
I am a very compassionate individual. I tend to empathize with clients I'm working with and treat them as I would treat my own family. My 5 years of experience in the hospital have taught me to care for people beyond what is expected of me and it shows in my performance in the workplace.
Hello, my name is Lakeisha Brown I am a certified nursing assistant I started working as a Cna in 2003 I have done everything from hospice to long term care including short term and home care there is nothing in this field I haven't done. I believe in pure awesome care from the heart. I enjoy being a caregiver and take pride in what I do because it feels so rewarding when it's done right I look at it as being a angel doing GODS work. I feel like I'm tithing and helping others in every way. Any home I have ever been into it was nothing but joy not only did patients love me families did also as well. My slogan is it cost nothing to be nice and treat an elder like they should be treated. Do it from the heart and u can't go wrong. I have achieved sooo much in my years of being a Cna employee of the month, certificates in restorative therapy etc most of all I enjoy helping others even if the patient is having a good day I feel like if u do your job and take care of them the day was still rewarding & joyful
