I am naturally a lover so giving expert care giving is something that comes natural for me caring for someones family is something that i love, and will always give my full ability to i feel you should care for someones family members as you would want someone to care for your very own. I was attracted to being a caregiver when my grandfather passed away who lived to be 109 years old. I was caring for him with a few other family members and realized it was something i had a passion for. I enjoy most talking to the person i am assisting making sure that i have the person as comfortable as possible around me i understand it can be hard meeting new people and having them assist you. A personal achievement i am proud of would be graduating from Fortis College and becoming Medical Assistant.
I chose to become a caregiver because I love helping people. It feels nice to be needed and to do for others. I went to CNA school for my certificate and got my first start working in an assisted living facility. I hope to become an occupational Therapist Assistant in the near future!
Years ago when I first entered the work force I was lucky enough to get a position as wait staff in a Memory Care facility. It was then that I first discovered my passion of caring for the elderly, specifically those with memory and physical impairments as a result of Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. I have spent most of my working years in this line of healthcare, serving individuals either in their personal home or in a nursing home setting. I have gained so much experience and education in memory care and pride myself on my ability to give my all to each patient. I have enjoyed taking care of others immensely and have found that it's what makes me the happiest. A person's later years can be confusing, scary, emotional and overwhelming but I have learned the tools to make each day meaningful and the very best it can be. I am often amazed at how lucky I feel to be caring for such amazing people, as every one I have ever cared for has had a wonderful life story. I am serving a person and enriching their life, not simply working a job and collecting a paycheck. I recently moved to Virginia Beach from NY and I miss this kind of work so much. I am pursuing my RN degree and can't wait to get back into a position with a family in need. I look forward to meeting a family who's needs match what I can offer and getting to work serving you and your loved one!

What makes me a great caregiver is that I'm truly an advocate for the safety and well-being of the patient. I'm my eyes, there's no wrong door. I do all I can to make sure my patient is very well taken care of and has what they need. I love helping others; especially those that are unable to help themselves.
I'm a very compassionate individual with a great personality and calm spirit. My current patients/clients would describe me as "part of the family." Helping people has always been a passion of mines and this field gives me a sense of fulfillment. If given the opportunity I will provide the best of care and love to your family member and will ensure that whatever I can offer by way of helping to give means to a better life I will deliver.
Hi my name is Clydie, I have been working in this field for over 20 years. I have a very caring heart love working with elderly people, I love listen to them. And I love caring for them. I love enriching my clients lives, I am compassionate , I'm patient. And I really love my job. This is my purpose
Personality traits includes sincere and genuine caring for the patients' comfort, health and well being. I take care of my husband for six months cause he was not able to care for his self. The biggest gift is a big smile and thank you from the one caring for. Greatest achievement is my children and my family. Hard-working mother a good wife.
I am currently aspiring to become a care giver, I have experience from taking care of my grandmother with Alzheimer's back in 2011, and 2 other elderly I took care of almost daily which one of them had suffered from a stroke. What made me interested in becoming a care giver is helping the elderly. My grandmother was treated horribly in a senior home, and I don't wouldn't want any senior going through something like that. I currently clean houses for elderly women and we spend 45 minutes talking before I start to clean because of how well I get along with elderly.
Growing up in a family of medical professionals I surely thought that one day I would become a nurse. Being a caregiver is such an honor it's all about putting away your needs to assist others. Knowing that a smile on my face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is priceless. The moments when i can reflect back and see how I have helped someone is what caregiving is all about.I would be very happy to care for your sister
I'm very attentive to details learning the clients exact needs and wants. I want seniors to be comfortable and feel I am a friend not just after a paycheck. Seeing how seniors these days are treated helped me decide in my career choice they are scared and just need reassurance that great people still exist. Helping them stay home safe is one of my favorite part of the job and learning about the great life they lived.
I have worked in various skilled nursing units in the therapy department for approximately 26 years and I love the population. Over this time, I have learned patience with various personalities and feel that I am a compassionate and caring person. Honestly, I am considering a personal caregiver position due to decreased full-time job opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. In general, I love working and taking care of people but absolutely love the elderly population. They have been my best friends since I was 10 years old.
I have recently retired from a full time PTA and I am looking for an opportunity to remain in the "caregiving" field without all the pressure of productivity and paperwork . I have extensive training and educations on all types of medical conditions and physical restrictions. My children are grown and I'm looking forward to this next chapter in my life .
