Hi I have been working as a caregiver for many years. I started as a CNA and work for more than 10 years, I currently don't have a certification but I still have the Knowledge. I enjoy been around the elderly listen to their stories and learn from them.

I've been a caregiver for 35 yrs. I started in this field when I was just 17. I love what I do. I come from a medical family and decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a doctor or nurse. I specialize in geriatric dementia and Alzheimers care. Every client needs to know they're truly cared for on every level with love, patience, and kindness. I enjoy learning from them ... they often have amazing histories, stories and lessons to share.I'm often with my clients for the duration of their lives.

I am very compassionate, patient, caring very positive, reliable I give a 100% of myself, I have a huge heart. Sept 15,2021 I was blessed with taking care of my client he's 85yrs old I've been taking care of him for 1yr 3 1/2 weeks he has been put in a nursing home because he needs 24hr care with the help of machines, I've enjoy taking care of Fabian and listening to all of stories from the Philippines. I have opening for any time after 3pm I do overnights, 1 of my Lady's will be moving to Dana Point with her daughter I've been taking care of her since her husband passed Nov 15 2022, her dementia was interfering with her every day life.

I've always had a heart for caring for others. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing I can be of help to those of need. I have 10yrs of experience in the medical field. I've started with helping my grandmother as a little girl such as brushing her hair on a daily, picking out her clothes, to then giving her, her medications. I cared for several other family members until I decided to then move on to working in a doctor's office as a medical/billing assistant which included me rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting the doctor's, submitting billing, and most importantly building friendly and trusting relationships. I'm now in the field working one on one with individual clients, being able to give my full undivided attention to make sure I care for all needs required as well as giving that security and confidence that they are in good hands.

I am a nursing student at the very end of my program. I am passionate about caring for others. I have a large family and I know the importance in family care, having someone who truly looks after a loved one is very important to me. I give it my all.

Encourage patient to exercise. Review & ask dietary restrictions, preferences, & allergies. Change bed linens, replace trash bags. Always check expiration of food & medicines. Know vital information about patient's condition, treatment plan & any suggested activity.. In a capsule, it is very important to respond immediately to patient's call for assistance and/or treatment with the goal of creating a safe, effective environment to make a difference in the lives of the patient & their families. Patience is a virtue inherent in me. I always work above & beyond my duty for the comfort & safety of my patients.
