Hello,I'm a nursing student just looking to help people take care of their love one's in their time of need. I'm very easy going,caring,loving,generous,respectful,and honest. I've always wanted to be in health care since the age of 3. When I was in high school my mother had a stroke & I helped her with recovering. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the bond that you develop with your client. The achievement that I'm proud of most was finishing my medical assistant program with honors (3.5gpa)

I orginally received my STNA in 1990 when I was a freshman in high school, and I have been doing that type of work since. I absolutely love taking care of people, helping them in their time of need, meeting their needs in advance, organizing their life and being a companion and a friend. I love what I do and am very passionate about it.

Hello! My name is Shelly, I'd like to share a bit about myself. I am a mother of 5, once they were all at school age I became a home care giver. I have only ever worked in an "at home" atmosphere, so I understand the needs and preference of keeping loved ones at home. I truly enjoy care for older clients, they are so intriguing and caring, which makes them easy to care for in my opinion. I am proud of the years of experience I have accumulated, and the range of skills I have. In any care situation I am able to adapt and provide the care the client or family of asks of me.

Hello, my name is Angela Dave. I am 20 years old almost 21. I have been doing healthcare work since I've been in high school and have been a certified STNA since a senior in high school. When I was a Jr. in high school I got pregnant and gave birth to my son 1 week before my senior year started. That's when I really buckled down and started to focus on what I need and want to do with my life because I had a whole other life to take care of. My son is now 3 and I've worked in a couple different areas of the healthcare field. In the beginning I did mostly STNA work in nursing homes, then I changed that up a bit and started doing home Health Care work. After high school I went to Mount Union for a year to persue my nursing license. When I went out to school my son wasn't even 1 yet and we were their by ourselves so it got a little difficult. After a year of that I decided it would be best for me to just work for the moment and focus on my son because trying to all three on my own was a little difficult. When I moved back home I started doing some home healthcare work and with that I really enjoyed it. I liked it better then the nursing home environment because you can better get to know your patients and build a relationship with them. I have always been a very giving person and have always had the desire to help someone else.

I enjoy speaking and talking with people I take care of learning about them making them feel that they are still person I myself have multiple sclerosis so I know how it feels to not feel like everyone else and everyone's body does a different thing it shouldn't change a person who they are just because of their age mental or physical abilities

Hello, My name is Jeannine. I've been working and or volunteering within the human services field for over 12 years. I currently have my masters in Human Services with a specialization in clinical counseling. My grandfather was recently diagnosed with dementia and I lost my grandmother last year due to complications while in a nursing home. Since then I have been an unpaid caregiver for a personal friend who needs 24/7 care. Keeping families at home and together is near and dear to my heart.

I am a soft speaker, I let my clients feel they are incharge by letting them make decisions on what they want to do for the day. I wanted to become a Caregiver, when my Uncle become sick and I had no clue how to take care of him. What I enjoy most about my job, is when I end my day with a smile on my clients face. The personal achievement I am proud of the most, is when my client comes to me and tells me that I am doing a good job talking care of them. I believe when the client tells me I am doing well, is a good achievement.
