Hi, This is part of my cover letter that goes with my Resume; it gives you a very good idea of my desire to be a caregiver.......... I am interested in a position as an IP Caregiver. I am resourceful, compassionate, and outgoing. I believe in excellence and have dedicated myself and my talents to be successful in the endeavor of home healthcare. I am an Artist, and began employment as an caregiver to care for my mother who was elderly, disabled, and suffering from chronic illnesses. She did not want to be placed in a nursing home, but needed full-time care. In the course of her care I became knowledgeable and proficient in the use of respiratory equipment and transfer devices. I became adept in skills of observation, documenting physical, behavioral, and medical information, managing and administering medication, and managing appointment and activity schedules. I worked with Doctors and medical staff to coordinate and implement treatment plans. Now, after 8 ½ years of caregiving experience, I am deeply motivated and committed to continue home healthcare for others. I want to provide quality care to clients with a wide range of disabilities, illnesses, special needs, and/or other challenges who want to continue to live in their homes with grace, dignity, and purpose.
Very considerate and kind. Fun and a good conversation. Empathetic and thoughtful. I like helping people. I feel like everyone has a story to tell and I can learn something from our experience. I've worked with a diverse array of conditions and cultures so my ability to adapt is one of my strong points. I have a lot of experience with dementia and it's complexity as well as personality disorders. I've been a handyman contractor so I'm skilled in home repairs and maintenance and have a keen eye for safety.
Hello my name is DeQuorious, I have decided to become a caregiver because i have been taking care of my mother and grandmother for years and it's really great hearing the stories and knowledge they have. Being able to know that you are helping someone go threw their day with any problems feels good, makes me feel like a superhero! I have not recently been a caregiver(working with a company) but i have many family members that are and boy do they love it. I want that happiness to, i want to make a family proud that there is someone out here that can help with the tough times. Life get's hard and sometimes you need a little help, that's what i am here for! I will be a great candidate because I take my job seriously, I will treat your relative like my own relative' ahowing them the love and care they expect to get from a family member.
