To keep from dropping the bar of soap when bathing or showering, use a bath mitt with a pocket for soap, or use soap on a rope. To make your own soap on a rope, put a bar of soap into a nylon knee high stocking. Use a slip knot to create a strap. Attach the strap to your wrist. Now, when you shower or bathe, you cannot drop the soap!
