I become a caregiver at the age 18yrs. Old for my grandmother when she lost her eye sight. I am now 42 yrs old. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I genuinely care. My personal achievement I am proud of, the skills I learned from caring for my grandmother I utilize today. About me I am a trust worthy loving person with morels and very reliable.

I have been a Certified Nurse Asst for 11 years worked for several home health agency's, nursing homes and the VA. Received my Medical Asst. certificate in 2014 and my license in April 2016 for cosmetology. I recently graduated from GCC for Nutrition for health and fitness and personal trainer. I became a caregiver because I wanted to know how to take care of my ailing grandfather. In 2002 I had applied and got into the CNA program at Sun bridge Care facility in Watsonville, CA. I helped my grandmother with my grandpa until he passed than I started working with Sun Bridge in 2003 for a few years. A little about me. Well I always try to be myself 1st . And I started out by helping my my mother with her own disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She was diagnosed between 1967 to 1975. She was fill on care the last 10 years she was with us. We had to feed her at times. Turn her every 2 hours. All together I have 25 plus years.Been a caregiver ever since. I'm married 20 years . With 7 kids. We love going camping. All out doors stuff. I love old movies and so does my whole family.

I like the benefits of helping others, my mother was a care giver when i was younger and i enjoyed going with her at times and helping out as well. I was taking care of my own grandmother for awhile after she had a hip replacement and i enjoyed being able to spend that time with her. I have been in the medical field for over three years now. i am a medical assistaint and i have the experience and would like to broden my experience

At the time I'm not a Care Giver. I'm a Medical Assistant but I like helping people. I'm a very caring person very responsible. I try to do my best on everything I do. The only experience I have is watching 2 boys that were mentally disabled I watched them at there home.
