I became a caregiver because I have a passion for working with elderly. I enjoy spending the time getting to know my clients individually. I have learned so much and continue to grow with the help and knowledge of the people I work with. I have completed school (educated myself ) while following the direction of the people I work with; their ambition and conversation has helped me achieve so much. I am a very compassionate, strong, empathetic, punctual and hard working individual. I love what I do! I make every effort showing that love by providing the care you deserve and pay for. I am experienced in all ADL's including Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I've worked in assisted living and in home care for over 11 years. I have an current Tb test, CPR and first aid trained and certified.

Hi I am very friendly, compassionate, and I have a strong passion to help people. Currently, I have entered into the Medical field and am eager to continue along this path. While I am attending school, I am seeking work in either Medical Assisting or Caregiving. I am reliable, honest and have strong integrity.

I became a caregiver because i enjoy helping people I enjoy being a caregiver because i feel that i bring great comfort and companion to the patient and family and accomplish there everyday needs. I am most proud of graduating medical school and i wish to further my education and become a great asset for the healthcare business. Im driven, motivated, responsible and hardworking and nothing less but dedicated in what i do.

What makes me a great caregiver? I love people and i like to help others that is needed. Why i become a caregiver well i started in the early 90's when i came to bakersfield and i thought it was interesting so i worked a while until i was sick so i never went back but late 90's i was helping a friend and i have another job at the time so i was working 2 jobs in homecare and childcare i loved them both. So when my son turned 18 i apply for IHSS IN HOME SUPPORT SERVICE AND I BEEN WITH THEM EVER SINCE 2013 AND STILL THERE PULSE I GO TO SCHOOL AT NIGHT TO BE AN MEDICAL ASSISTANT.WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BEING A CAREGIVER I LOVE TO HERE THEY STORIES ABOUT THEM GROWING UP. I LIKE TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY AND MAKE THEM SMILE AND LAUGH. WHAT IS A PERSONAL ACHIEMENT THAT I AM PROUD OF THAT I LIKE TO GET MY WORK DONE RIGHT AND THAT PEOPLE APPRECIATE ME OF WHAT I'VE DONE.

My name is Maria Hernandez I been doing home care for about 13 years . I have worked in facilities as well on one on one care . I am a medical assistant certified and I have experience with patients with Alzheimer's and detentia patients as well other cases . Love to help and bring a smile to each family

I am a great caregiver, First of all because i have great experience in taking care of the elderly I currently work as a Program Aid. I love my job, I do pretty much everything starting from, monitored vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse,tested and recorded blood glucose levels,changed sterile dressing,assisted patients with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, grooming, feeding, lifting and transferring,Cooked appetizing and satisfying meals and snacks. I work 5 hours and Im looking into more hours. I am also a very caring person with a big heart I want to make a diffrence in peoples life thats why I think I am a great caregiver
