What makes me a great caregiver is I'm really patient with the clients take there feeling into consideration make sure they are comfortable and well taking care of .what made me become a caregiver/cna was helping people in need and give more experience when becoming a future nurse

Hi my name is Shelby! I am a 22 year old college student currently in my third semester of a registered nursing program. I have been a caregiver for over a year and a half and absolutely enjoy it. It is such a rewarding and fulfilling job. I am extremely hardworking, punctual, and caring. I enjoy the companionship aspect of working as a caregiver the most. I feel like I have touched the lives of my clients and their families and that has made my heart so full.

I believe what makes me a great caregiver and one of the main reasons I decided I wanted to be in this field is because people in general deserve professional care . And I want to make my residents feel special and cared for. That is my main goal and I want them to know they can rely on me for anything. What I love about being a caregiver is making my residents smile and completing my tasks for them . A personal achievement I am proud of is actually being in this field, it is tough but I am forever grateful for this position as a CNA.

I became a caregiver because I have a heart to care for others needs. I believe in my heart and soul that this is my calling which i am very passionate about. I'm a great caregiver, because i was raised by my grandmother. when she became to weak to care for herself I took her into my home and cared for her. i took care of my grand mother for over 10yr before she pass away.I love helping the eiderly.

I am a very caring person who has a CNA license and have experience in a live in facility with patients of all kind. What i enjoy the most is making people life easier by helping them do things they can't do on there own. The reason for becoming a care giver is i like helping others and I am looking forward to becoming and Rn in the future.

My sensitive character is what allows me to be empathetic towards my clients. It is what drives me to treat my clients the way that I would want my family members to be treated. When I interact with a client, they may not remember what I look like, but they will definitely remember how I made them feel. This is what attracted me to become a care provider other than my goal to become a physician. I want each client to feel safe and well cared for in their own home. I enjoy creating a bond with my client. Its like a friendship within itself. You get to know the client that you are caring for as a person. I am proud of being in the process of studying to become a physician while caring for people in their most vulnerable state of being.

I am really great with people of all ages. I have worked as an intern with children from pre-k to the 1st grade with different types of disabilities. I believe in giving genuine care to other people and reassuring their families that I ( the care giver) will make them feel at home and safe. I am very outgoing. My friends and coworkers say I am always smiling or laughing about something and that is just my nature. I love being happy. Helping people makes me the happiest. I work as a security guard and I am in the military so the structure from those experiences showed me how important planning and timing is in day to day life. Using that in care giving, I am reliable in reminding individuals of when medications are to be taken, meal preps, bathing, and rest for individuals.

I am out going and fun to be around. I can tell corny jokes and make sure that you are having a good day. I have many years of helping or taking care of older people. What attracted me to caregiving was being able to help people and to be able to hear their stories from their life. I definitely enjoy the stories and learning about people and what they have experienced. An achievement that I am proud of would be putting myself through college and aiming for both an associates and bachelors degree.

I have a passion for and a strong commitment to providing the highest level and quality of care for my clients. One of the best parts about being a nurse in a non clinical setting is the time afforded to foster and build meaningful relationships between myself and my clients and their families. I enjoy getting to know my clients on a personal level and finding the best way to meet their individual needs. There is nothing more rewarding than a client living their best life with dignity and independence while under my care.

I naturally like taking care of people. The genuine appreciation that I receive from clients. Having an abundance of patience. I am a mother of three; which includes twins, and have five grandchildren.

I am an open minded women, integer, kind, sincere and punctual. I always have a great desire to help elderly and disabled people. When I was attending my social sciences school, I felt disappointed how some elderly were treated. I began to stand and help my grandmother and stay with her during my vacations by helping her with housework. I am married and mother of 3 boys and one girl. I have bac in social worker and a Master's degree in international social sciences. All of these make me a great person who is ready to help any person.
