I enjoy Caregiving because I get to surround myself with elderly people with different backgrounds and life stories of their past. I find it very rewarding caring for them especially knowing that I'm helping a family make a difference in their loved ones life.

I became a caregiver once I discovered my mother and father's bad health issue. What I like about being a caregiver is that fact that I am able to build that relationship with my patients and just letting them know that I am here for them, in making them comfortable what I am proud of is being great at what I do I have the heart and passion I don't look at this as work I look at it as having another grandparent. I am 27 with a great family support I am going to school right now for nursing I have a great personality, very in dependable, hardworking, determine, and motivated last but not least very intelligent. I'm different from all other caregiver's as I like to put on performance for my patients. I lost my grandparents last year so I can relate to such older people and when it comes to them giving me wisdom and courage.

Hi I'm Marisa nice to meet you! I'm a excellent caregiver, friendly, very caring, considerate, compassionate, patient and very hands on. I've been caregiving for over 20 yrs. I provide alot of expertise in geriatrics for both in home and in Senior living communities. I enjoy meeting and helping different people. I started taking care of my grandparents and other family members and have been doing it ever since.

I have been caring for seniors since I was the age of 17. Either with a relative of my parent's friends or from online sites just like this! I have a high passion working with the elderly since my grandmother, who also was a caregiver for over 30 years and after being diagnosed with cancer, she too became an elder in need of care until she passed in 2005. I became a licensed CNA in May, 2008-2010 where it expired. From that period of time, I was working in a facility where we would care for patients that were diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer, diabetic, recovering from surgeries, etc. We would also provide daily baths, take each patient to their daily activity schedules, therapy appointments etc. I felt during this time I wasn't providing all the care each of my 12 patients needed as an individual, so I came to terms that I wanted to become an in home caregiver. From there, I am able to provide my care as an employee as well a friend and companion that seniors need considering they are always home. I enjoy doing what I do, I enjoy knowing what I am to provide to the seniors puts them at ease of knowing they still have their independence in their own homes. My goal is simply to have the seniors live comfortably in their homes, help build their independence, let them know they are the boss and not I and that I'm simply here to help when needed.
