I became a caregiver at first due to lack of medical assistant jobs after I graduated from acc. At first I didn't know a thing about caregiving , but after my first client that I worked with for 2 yrs, I realized how fulfilling it is to help someone in need. I am a very caring and giving person and i'm always the first one to give a hand out or offer my help. I take pride in who I am and I feel proud to say I am a great people person. I have yrs of customer service, in waitressing to being a catering manager to having a son and 4 beautiful grandkids, I take care of my own mother who is 84 yrs old. I feel I have a gentle hand with the elderly and lots of patience.

I cared for my father in law four years ago and took care of my grandma 6 years ago, I also cared for my father who had Parkinson disease before dying on the year 2012. When I was part of a large lay off with Sprint in 2013 after 20 years as an Implementation Project Manager, I decided to go back to school for LVN. I successfully completed school in early 2015 and am awaiting to take the NCLEX exam. In the meantime, I am also a licienced CNA and I really enjoy taking care of people. This is something I always wanted to do. I have worked in several facilities as part of my clinicals and I look forward to a position where I can help a facility meet its needs.
