I became a care giver because I began caring for a friend about 10 years ago and I found it very rewarding. I love the interaction between the patient and myself. The companionship is an amazing asset to both of us. I love caring for people and I love making a difference in their lives. I became a certified pharmacy technician and it is a accomplishment that I am very proud of. I love to work hard and show up on time. I changed my line of work about 3 years ago and it is a very welcome change. I love being a care giver.

I became a caregiver because I love to help others in need. I've always adored elders and their wisdom. I'm a very trustworthy and dependable worker. I'm a free spirited lady with a lot of energy, understanding and compassion.

1. I realized I truly love the company of the elders and the patience they obtain. I fell in love with caring for the elderly back when I was in high school. I also realized that some families are not able to care for their loved ones properly due to life's duties and trials. Therefore I made a vow to always give myself to the elderly because they need us just as much as we need them. 2. The most thing I like about being a care giver is like I stated before the relationship you build with the client, I've always been very domestic and easy going so working with the elderly is second nature. 3. I am very proud of being the first in my family to complete high school at the age of 16, attend college at the age of 16 and graduate in medical billing and coding. 4. I have a 2yr old daughter whom I love dearly, I have a husband who is amazing, I am very family orientated, and I enjoy interacting with people on all spectrums of life no matter what the subject is.

Why did I become a caregiver? Because of the medical background that I have and all the wonderful doctors and nurses I have met through my struggles, I was inspired and felt my calling was to serve others. My name is Sarah Pesko and I enjoy helping people. I've been basically doing it my entire life. My parents started foster care when I was 11 years old only taking special needs children and it was a family event. It was from there when I realized I enjoyed helping others. A personal achievement of mine was my time in nursing school. Although I didn't complete my nursing degree due to not being comfortable with giving injections, I was able to participate in clinical training that I excelled in.

I have always loved working with people. I have experience working in nursing homes, hospital and also cared for my grandmother before she died. Towards the end of her life , she had Alzheimer's and required extensive care. The opportunity to continue working in the care-giving field is exciting for me. I love helping other in any way I can and feel fulfilled when I can brighten someone's day.

I am a great listener to those who just want companionship. I am an outgoing person that does what I can to make the client happy. I'm always available when needed. I became a care giver in 2009 after graduating Medical Assisting School, I have furthered my education to CNA and LVN, Although, I am waiting for my state certification.
