I, chose to be a caregiver for many reasons. But, the main reason was my grandfather. He has dementia and with time he needed someone to watch over him 24/7 so it was hard to trust someone with your family member and have someone else care for him. After daily visits, I seen how the caregivers would pay so much attention to them. I'm talking about details such as grooming, hygiene, making sure he's dressed nice and comfortable, making sure he eats and stays hydrated. I was stoked and interested in this field that I decided to give it a try. Everyday I go to work and greet my residents with a smile and get them going with their day. There is so much love to give!! Lets just put it this way, I treat my residents just like family. Just like I want my grandpa to be taken care of. I love my job. "IF YOU CAN DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR SOMEONE ELSE, THEN DO IT"

I love being a caregiver. I have been caregiving for about 3 years already and I would love to major in my future careers in the elderly care. I love being able to help people. I am currently enrolled in LVN school. I would love to be able to attend RN school soon.

I am a recent nursing graduate waiting to take the nclex exam and I would like some extra hands on experience to add to my resume. The things I like most about being a caregiver is helping and uplifting clients and caring for someone who is need of care. Graduating nursing school is the achievement im most proud of. I am a very kind and polite person, I care more about the smile and happiness of my client more than a paycheck. I am a organized and a very hard worker who gets the job done
