I understand the needs of seniors, their individual care and respect their need for preservation of ' self-respect & identity. I have 20+ years in diversified care needs for seniors. I took care of my own mother the last 10 years of her life with heart, stroke an finally cancer Health issues. I went back to college to pursue Health ENT & medical administrative needs. But my expertise @ demeanor lended itself into the world of caring for seniors. I began a 501c non-profit foundation to grant the final wishes of seniors with less than a year to live with my mother"s inheritance to me. It has granted neatly 250 final wishes @ is reun by a 'Board of Director's' out of Antioch, CA. It is called 'An Elderly Wish Foundation.' I am widowed 2 years now @ spend my time independently employed to care for seniors. I am in excellent health @ do gym work-outs regularly. I like to 'meet' my clients before committing to their care. It is important for our relationship to be compatible, so I am 'clear' on their individual needs. I only want to work part time for one long term client...and would relocate my apartment closer to their city if the match was mutual. I am a strong Christian woman and I walk daily ' in Gods Word'

What made me want to be a care giver was actually my grandparents they where amazing people. What I enjoy most is getting to know my clients an over all making new bonds.

Quit my job as a Paralegal Assistant to care for my mother, who suffered from Dementia and Parkinsons, around the clock. She became my daughter and I became her student. As I reflect on my personal accomplishments I am proud that I have completed 5 triathlons, wrote and self published a few coffee table books, and that I am a loyal friend to all creatures great and small.

Nurturing and motherly traits have always come naturally to me. I am a mother of 3 but have been caring for my siblings as well as neighborhood children since I was a young girl. I have officially been in healthcare for just about 6 years but have been immersed in the care of family members before it was even my job title. I found through the care of my mom during her hospice stay, that caring for others during life changing events is my passion. I take pride in my work and the help I offer to those in need. It's important for me to mirror qualities of not just hard work and determination but compassion, empithy, and times of being selfless to mold my children into well rounded kind little people. My favorite part of my work is celebrating all the victories with my patients, no matter how small it may seem to them. I value the relationships we build and look forward to going to work to interact with them. I have truly found my life's work. I am outgoing, energetic, and full of compassion. I give 110% in all I do. I became a caregiver at the age of 15 when my neighbor fell ill and I've loved it and have been doing it ever since.

I love working with people elderly especially and I have a fun outgoing understanding personality. things that attract me to be a care giver would have to be i love to help people because it brings me such joy to see that I made someones day and got to help them.

For me being a caregiver is extremely fulfilling work, it fills my natural drive to help people. I am detail oriented, can juggle many tasks at once and I genuinely care about the people I come in contact with. I enjoy the one on one time with my clients as well as being able to provide quality care for those who can't always do for themselves.

I am a fun, very likable person who will work with anybody, and i love to help in any way. i have had a few years of experience with caregiving both pain and volunteer, and i absolutely love it. I have experience with all personal care and hygiene care both male and female, and young and old. I am a hard working person with a strong work ethic and would love to get the chance to work with you. I am CPR/AED and first aid certified.

My first experience as a caregiver was when I was 15 years old. My grandfather was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Both my parents were school teachers so I was responsible for his care every day after school till they got home. My heart is in taking care of others and helping keep them home in there comfort zone as long as possible. I am 38, I obtained my CNA in 2000 and have worked with different companies ever since. I enjoy all people with different illnesses I have extensive training with accute, long term, rehabilitation, psych holds, pediatric and also worked for two years in a lock down alshiemers ward. The job is hard and sometimes mentally exhausting, but I couldn't imagine doing anything different.

I'm currently a student going through LVN school, so I have a quite the background when it comes to patient care. Not only do I enjoy helping out with caregiving, but it could also help me learn more towards my scope or practice. Going along with that is also learning about those with different diagnoses and how to help in different ways, which would make me a better care giver for anyone I help! I enjoy how different everyday could be when it comes to caregiving and just doing what needs to be done to keep the patient and family healthy and happy.

My passion is to help others.

I started off as a caregiver working up a little high to certified home health aide and now just weeks away from receiving my Nursing assistant license. In all I have about 2 1/2 years of experience so far and am planning to become a registered nurse very soon as well. I have worked in home health environment as well as facilities/ retirement homes/ hospital rehabs. I am quite the thorough worker bee and enjoy working with elderly along with special needs (of all ages)/children too.

My love for giving care exceeds what I thought it could! I feel a natural call and ability to do the work that I do. I am however looking to replace the environment I am currently giving care in for one more centered around the patient, so they can be comfortable 24/7 and I can come to them to give them whatever more they need !

I started providing care for individuals when I was a mere sixteen years old. My first experience was taking care of an Alzheimer's patient, and this forever left a lasting mark on me. I found a passion in enriching the quality of life for those who want to continue to stay in their own home, and have always striven to provide the best care for individuals and couples. I have a wide range of experience, from dementia and cancer and hospice, to mobility assistance and stand-by safety care. I have a long track record of going the extra mile and having a great attitude, because caring for people is not just a paycheck, it is a fulfilling choice that I choose to make!

I am waiting to get into the nursing program at Butte, and in meantime am seeking employment as a caregiver. I am a caring and hardworking individual who works well with the elderly population.
