I became a caregiver when my father was diagnosed with cancer and I didn't want anyone else caring for my father but me & when he passed away I wanted to continue to care for others peoples loved ones as I would my own. I like being a caregiver because I love helping people it's always been apart of me to go out my way to help anyone I could. My personal achievement would be going to school and learning how to properly care for individuals. Well my name is Judith Marie Knox I'm 29 years old I have a son who just turned 9 my husband & I have been married 3 years the 14th of March. My favorite color is purple I love going out to eat & trying new foods. I love shopping & cooking I'm trying to get my body into shape so eating healthy is my new obstacle.

I'm currently employed with Communinty Serviecs Inc. I work with pepole with developmental disabilities by providing for individualized support services, community based services and lifestyle opportunities. I have over six years as a care provider. I previously worked for Visting Angels a senior care provider. Giving me experience with senior care and developmental disabilities.

I am a dependable, always on time, trustworthy person. Your loved one and their belongings are safe with me. Having worked in the care giving industry since 1997 I have worked in a number of settings. I found great pleasure in home health providing personal care, cleaning, cooking, transportation and post surgery rehabilitation. MRDD clients were taught good hygiene, cooking, socializing, bus riding and best of all reading. And as a nanny I had the joy of infant care, teaching, and loving children. I am ready to return to caring for seniors. I am a senior and have a very good understanding of their needs.

My Name is Katrina but go by Nina for short! I have been a Certified Nurse Assistant since the age of 16. It has always been my dream to help people. I have 3 children one of which has special needs! The reason I bring up my special boy is because he has taught me more about patience, understanding and compassion than any kind of school/ work training. Hi, my name is Alexa Griggs and I recently moved to this area. I have always had a passion to help the elderly. I used to volunteer at a nursing home for 3 years and I can tell you I have gained much experience. I have very well patience, I can also speak Spanish. In high school I did a interest project for animal therapy. I used to raise rabbits and I was able to bring them into the nursing home and share them with the elderly, I have also made a video of that experience. Most of my life i have been a caregiver in some form. Once i entered my adult years i provided caregiving through ihss for 8 years. I cared for a paraplegic woman and even healed sit wounds that drs told my client would never heal. After that i was a caregiver and advocate for people with development disabilities. Im currently a hospital emergency room employee that registers patients by night and caretaker in the day. Im very compassionate and show lots of patience. The joy and care of people in my care is my main priority at all times.

I always thought to myself that I want to wake up and be happy about going to work instead of dreading it ! I first started working as a CNA for experience for when I eventually become a Nurse. Although, I was not ready for what this job has taught me and opened my eyes about life. As I mostly take care of the elderly I am constantly hearing new stories about anything you could think of ! I've created bonds that will stay in my heart forever and these residents I care for definitely have a place in my heart. I have grandparents and great grandparents that make me even love this job even more because the more experience I gain I am able to connect with them and understand their ways of thinking and actions due to their age and changes. I am very patient and outgoing so connecting with residents is never an issue. That is most likely my favorite thing about being a CNA is connecting and bonding with residents. Hello I am 43 years old I have lived in the desert since 2015. After working in the HOA Field I landed a job and I've been working ever since 2019. Unfortunately this leaves my summers off so I was hoping To find works for all of July and maybe August Until School starts again. My mother used to work in a restaurant when I was small and I used to help take care of the residence there. I also was the activities Director breakfast and lunch cook plus Karen get her for eight residence in a small restaurant in Thermalito California. My father-in-law lives in Palm Desert and he is 86 but he can take care of himself unfortunately his wife passed away two years ago and I helped out caregiving for her every single day until her passing. I would love to try to work out something To fit both of our schedules. Sunday Monday Tuesday and Wednesday works perfect for me. I am definitely a morning person . 6 AM to Noon my best hours of Availability.

I (Torri) became a Caregiver, because it has became a passion of mine. Since caring for my great Grandmother till her last day. I've felt a need to help the elderly that simply cannot do it themselves. I've worked in many care facilities and also did in home care on the side. The feeling of accomplishment, love, and someone genuinely caring for him/her that I see from a resident/client is the reason why I love doing this action. It's not just a "job" you're a huge deal in this persons life and that is a privilege. I've done the House Keeping shifts, Care Companion shifts, Med Aid shift, and in home care shifts. ALL give me a sense of fulfilment, which I always want to have in my life. I'm going to further my career based in Elder care.
