I was inspired to become a caregiver by my grandmother who passed in 2015. i witnessed the love her caregiver had for her and i just loved it, that experience encouraged me to take on a new career path and since i've started it i've loves it. I love helping others in need, it brings me joy. I am a great caregiver because i am respectful, kind, outgoing, dependable, loving. I give my full attention to my patients and their needs.

And 2003 I discover that I am in passion with these job caregiver because my father he getting really sick that's when I feel that I need to do something for V more helpful ... I am someone with a strong integrity, whose compassion, positive outlook on life and a hail-fellow-well-met attitude has developed who I am now. I always knew I wanted to work on the medical field. So in high school I joined the health academy and after that I got my first job as a caregiver. Now with 7+ years as a caregiver I say the thing I love the most about being a caregiver is listening to life stories you'd be amazed!

Being a good caregiver begins with just simply being patient. Not only that, but also being compassionate, attentive, and trust worthy. Helping other people has been something I've been super passionate about. With that being said making another's persons day makes me so happy in the inside. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is just simply being in company of another person and getting to know new people.

I became attracted to caregiving when my sister was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer, I went with her to every chemo and I knew I wanted to help people. Going through it a second with my other sister pushes me to care for others when they're most vulnerable. I enjoy connecting with people and creating a bond with them and earning their trust. I'm proud of me going through nursing school it's tough but I know it will be worth it.

Nursing has always been my passion since I was a young kid, I have been working in the healthcare since I was 16 years. I started volunteering in the hospital and in different healthcare events. I took care of both of my grandfathers when I was a kid and yound teenager. Everytime I take care of a patient I see them as if they were my own family. My goal is to become a RN, but currently are enrolled in the LVN program in order to help people throughout my skills. I start working as a caregiver/private nurse when my kids were in grade school because the hours are flexible, I enjoyed working with the elderly in their homes, hospitals, SNF. I did it for over 10 years, The flexibility of the hours doing this work, works well while raising my kids at early age and at the same time help a lot of elderly and their families during the last part of their love one's life. I was able to help them live with dignity and enjoy the last part of their life. After over 10 yrs of doing this I went back to school at age of 50 and get my LVN license for a change and work at drug, alcohol and dual diagnosis rehab center here in the desert. Now, that I am close to retirement I want to go back and do the same thing again as I did until my retirement age. I started out as a Babysitter when I was growing up that led into a nanny and now I'm a paid Caregiver. I have experience with Dementia/Alheimers patients, I have helped with Physical therapy, wheelchairs ,loss of sight and Speech therapy..

I've been doing this type of work since I was 12yrs. I lived with my grandmother helping my mom take care of her. After she passed I found myself searching for what makes me happy. I decided to go to school for CNA, best decision I've made in a long time. I love what I do, it brings back memories of my grandmother. I would like to go back to school but for now, I'm enjoying this experience. I love to interact, talk to, sing, and dance with my residents. I love to see them smile. With that being said, I'm a good person, trying to give someone the care I would want if I was in that postition.

Before I became a one on one caregiver, I was an Administrator of a 78-beds facility for mentally ill in 1996. After that I was transferred to a 69-beds facility for an independent living. I started doing one on one in 2000. Most of my clients are high ends. My last client for 18 months was an Ambassador and after that I took care of a retired U.S. Senator. I am most interested in working live in, if possible. I can travel domestically and internationally with no restrictions.
