I really enjoy the people I care for and the stories they share with me. I have recently graduated from LVN Nursing school I enjoy doing crafts, sewing, and woodworking.

My name is Leony. I am 22 years old. Despite my young age, I am a very hardworking person. I have been working as a CNA since high school. I also worked in an assisted living assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, grooming, etcs), administer medication and meal prepping. Hello everyone! My name is Alexis and I'm currently 24y.o. I currently live in the riverside area. I became a caregiver because I have a passion to help others. I am very understanding, caring, loving & gentle. I take my time to get to know every single client individually, to understand their needs better. I am very observant and treat each and EVERY client with respect and dignity. I try my best to make sure whenever I leave a client they are very happy with how the day went. I know how important it is for a family to feel their loved one is safe and being care for properly. I have a brother with Kidney failure and I always remember how hard it was to watch my mother find proper care for him. This is why I find it so important to ensure not only my client but, my clients family is comfortable.I am currently in school majoring to be a RN. Somethings I love most about being a caregiver is, meeting new clients and being able to complete task no matter the challenge. Another reason I became a caregiver is because, every client you meet becomes family. You are able to grow with each person you come in contact with. In pursuing my true passion of working with food and people, I have graduated the Culinary Arts & Hospitality Program with Honors from SBCC and shortly after having graduated, my Uncle was diagnosed with Alzheimers. I moved down to Ventura, CA to assist my Mom with caring for him for the last four years and developed a love for caring for those who need assistance in caring for themselves. Patience, understanding and compassion are the most important when caring for our loved ones and our patients. I enjoy working and developing recipes that cater to special dietary needs, as I realize that if meals do not taste good and look good, you won't enjoy it and that is tremendously important when having to be on special diets. I also try to use fresh, organic and local products whenever possible, as those are the best when caring for our bodies and to help us meet our goals. I have many certifications that I can provide you copies of that are from the Culinary Industry, including my Culinary Certification, ServSafe Food Handling Certification, Sustainable Seafood and Hotel & Hospitality Certifications that I am not able to provide through the site, but happy to provide upon request.
