I became a caregiver to help others live a life to the fulliest in a happy safe environment with hope and happiness, I love seeing people feel good doing what they enjoy and seeing them smile. I have a wonderful family with three children all grown successfull and happy.

I am a great caregiver wiht good experienced, good companion, friendly, my family and friends always tell me that I have a big heart, love people and more important I am very skilled in patient care, work before with kids all ages and women have live in position, I am speak english and spanish.

When I first meet my future client(s) and family we get to know each other quickly. I am a relaxed easy going person who likes to make the day fun and interesting but yet work productivly while serving your family member (s). Having to re-enter the workforce after raising three daughters and graduating from college led me on a search for a career that fed my soul while serving others. I became a caregiver because a friend at church suggested it and I found it was a perfect fit. What I like most about care giving is that it is multi- faceted work. It not just about the everyday tasks it's about relationships, relating, observing and thinking creatively as to how to meet a special need, hope or want. Its about bringing my whole self into another's life and finding out what they need and then working to make it happen. Recently I was able to take a mother (Alzheimer's) and son (physical disabilities) out to Walmart to do Christmas shopping. It was a great day. The son enjoyed the day and had a great sense of accomplishment and the mom had a chance to see her son realize a goal. They both thanked me in the car on the way home and were so happy. This gave me a great sense of accomplishment as neither if them wanted to venture out much for the first few months. Now, after a year with them we plan out the day and include at least one fun adventure each week. This expands their world, abilities and enhances their lives. I wouldn't have it any other way.

My name is Diana and I been in health care for about 7 years now ,I currently enrolled in school taking some classes at a time to become a nurse, I enjoy helping other and if I can make any changes to help other and make life easier I would . I am bilingual and through the years in health care I noticed a big difference when I can help out and comunicate with other in need .

I am very outgoing, social butterfly. I became a caregiver because I love taking care of ones that can no longer do for themselves. I love to help out when needed. My name is Diamond Brown and I have over 11 years of caregiving and geriatric care experience. I am a compassionate and loving caregiver who has worked with a variety of age groups, memory care residents, and disabilities. My passion for helping others is why I became a caregiver. Being apart of something bigger than myself is so humbling and so rewarding. When I was 18 I became a Highway Patrol Explorer and competed in competitions against other explorers from different units throughout California. My group's turn was up for the CSI crime scene evaluation. Never were we prepared for the competitions and this was our first with no practice before. I chose to be the lead investigator and chose everyone's position for the scene. My group placed first against all other regions that evaluated the same scene. I am proud because we were given something we had no practice of, I stepped up and was the leader, and we did succeed.

I am a graduate nurse awaiting to take my nursing board exam. I am a full time teacher looking for extra work for the summer or weekend work. I am compassionate and kind, and I love people. To me, caregiving does not feel like work. It is a very natural part of being human, and it brings me joy to help another person in need.

I love what I do and I love interacting with others in need. I'm here for support, companionship, and to improve the quality of a persons life. Hello, My name is Emily Monnier. I am currently attending California State University, Sacramento. I am majoring in Gerontology and will graduate with my Bachelors degree in Fall of 2019. I am really excited to be working the the field of gerontology because I love helping others. I have field training working with senior facilities in my community such as Eskaton and The Chateau. I am also a current hospice volunteer and will be completing my internship at Bristol Hospice. I strive to create a healthy and safe environment for all of my clients. I focus most on quality of life as a caregiver. I am most proud of my volunteer hours by giving back to the community. I look forward to working with clients, family, and care teams.

What makes me a great caregiver, I care. I will always go above and beyond the call of duty to help people to live their best lives. I have two years of experience as an official caregiver. I currently work at a memory care center where I work with up to 25 residents at a time, who have various needs, assisting them with their daily lives. I am looking for a second income to help pay for my schooling so I can get my nursing degree.

I always try to establish a personal connection because I feel like when i've made a personal connection it makes the caregiving experience more enjoying and relaxing for my patients. I love to help people and I love what I do, I'm very passionate about it because I know this is something that someone needs and i'm able to impact peoples lives this way. I enjoy spending time with all of my patients and providing companionship, I always learn new things about them and their lives and i'm able to establish emotional connections and an understanding of what they go through. I am very proud of what I do and of everyone in this business and especially and all the people we work with who most of the time endure so much but still stay so positive.

I love taking care of people. So much so that I went to school to be a nurse and currently waiting to take my state boards test. With my personality of not being able to just wait, I want to go back to caring for someone in the meantime since I love helping others.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy providing companionship and care for the elderly. I have experience working with elderly men including providing companionship and personal care.
