I a dedicated caregiver and have been for over 18 years. I'm very loving and attentive. I became a Certified Nurse Assistant because I realized that it was one of my many callings in life from the Lord. I have a servants spirit so I genuinely love taking care of others. The biggest enjoyment I get out of being a caregiver is knowing that the care that each person needs and deserves, they are receiving it completely. During my years of service I have received several recognitions from the jobs I've worked at as well as from those I've taken care of. It would be an honor and my pleasure to help you by giving your loved one the care they need and deserve.

What first attracted me to being a caregiver was seeing how much of a difference compassion and consistency can make in someone's day-to-day life. The part I enjoy most is building trust and meaningful connections with the people I care for knowing that I can make their day a little easier or brighter means a lot to me. One personal achievement I'm proud of is helping a client regain confidence after an injury.

I've been taking care of a family member with intellectual disabilities for 19 years. Helping with daily ADL's and doing Community Connector with them. I enjoy helping people and making their lives better in any way I can. I did go school and graduated in 2016 as a Medical Assistant in the state of Colorado. A good personality trait I have is having lots of patience, empathy, compassion,and observant. I wanted to pursue on being a caregiver, when I started providing care for my mother when she was very ill, unfortunately she passed away and from then I wanted to continue providing care for seniors.

When I was in highschool my grandfather who I was very close to got very sick and I would help my grandmother with him, that's when I knew I wanted to go into the medical field to help people. I have been a licensed nurse for the past 13 years. I am currently licensed in WI and I am working on getting my license here in Oregon. Unfortunately this is going to take a little bit longer than I was hoping it would. I have not worked as a nurse since 2014. I took some time off to work with my husband as a over the road truck driver. I am longing to get back into nursing. I am a kind, loving and caring person. Working with elderly people is a treattgnnn, you learn frothem as you help them with their needs. Companionship is the best because they have lived and are willing to share their lives and experience with me. I always say your never to old to learn new things and they teach you so much as you get to know them personally.

I believe that I am an awesome caregiver due to the fact I have over eight years of experience. I am very patient, loving, and nurturing. I like to get to know my clients and get them to engage in things they like. I have a very bubbly personality and a warm smile. I go above and beyond with comfort measures. I started off as a Medical Assistant but when my grandmother took ill I quit my job to help my mother care for her since my mother was ill her self and attended dialysis. I learned to care for the elderly and fell in love with it. I enjoy hearing their stories and adventures. At times I believe I was born in the wrong era because I have an old soul myself. What I enjoy most as a caregiver is building relationships with my clients. Although eventually they pass due to natures course I am happy to have met them and served them well in their last stages of life. Something I am proud of is continuing my education an enrolling in Nursing school. When i officially graduate I will pursue the Home health industry still working for Hospice as an RN. I have been a caregiver almost a decade and I have learned so much through my clients. Not just from a professional perspective but also just a better human.
