I'm a great caregiver because I have a great amount of patience and understanding. I have spent most of my life caring for disabled children and adults. This is my passion , since a young age I've learned to adapt and show compassion, with helping to raise my sister who has down syndrome. Most of all I like putting smiles on everyones face I work with and come in contact with.

As a caregiver I will provide my patients with thorough care while displaying a thoughtful, passionate and respectful approach. I will recognize the patient as a whole in each unique situation and strive to meet all their needs while remaining unbiased, kind, attentive and educating them to be able to help themselves. My perfect world is a place where every patient receives care without discrimination and with compassion under all circumstances. I want to be a caregiver because I am in Nursing School and I feel this would bring me closer to my goal in interacting with patients and providing care. I am proud of my schooling and only have 1/4 way to go until I can get my license.

Hi my name is Kristina Hernandez I am 27 years old and I have been a caregiver for 5 years . I honestly never thought about caregiving until my grandfather got sick and started to care for him . All I wanted was for him to feel better and to be with us a little longer . I am very caring and understanding I love being a caregiver, I understand seniors are going through many changes and mood swings but there isn't anything better but to show them love and be there for them, they go through a really rough stage where they don't even know who they are anymore and I understand that is very hard for them to have someone care for them when they were so use to doing everything on their own . I have had many jobs like being a nanny and a medical assistant but I can say that there isn't any better job position for me then to be a caregiver . It's who I am and what I love doing ,caring and loving for someone who needs me and I am proud of what I do . I have no criminal record never been introuble with the law or anything .
