Caring for the elderly became my passion after seeing how people mistreated my grandfather in his last days. I told myself that no person should live his last days unhappy and so I have dedicated myself to making them SMILE:)

I became a caregiver when a friend who did caregiving needed someone to cover her shifts. Later some shifts became available so I was happy to continue. I liked being a companion for a very sharp, interesting women. She had so many great life stories. I did light housekeeping, prepared lunch and did things around her house she could no longer do, like cleaning out her closets and going through her piles of mail. We had many wonderful conversations. I also helped care for my mother who had Alzheimer's. I was a hospice volunteer for two years which I found very rewarding. I did Reiki sessions for clients which were profound experiences. A personal achievement I am very proud of is raising my two daughters. They are beautiful, smart and educated. They both married wonderful men who adore them for who they are. I am also the proud grandmother of a sweet boy and girl. They are the joy of my life. I visit them as often as I can. Thank goodness for technology and we facetime call usually once a week. I am semi retired looking for part-time work to supplement my income. I am educated (Master's degree) and worked for a number of years as a computer programmer analyst and then did accounting. I am an avid reader and enjoy all types of music. I love to dance. I am interested in architecture. For my semi-retirement I am investigating more right-brained activities. I was very artistic as a child and want to recapture that. I moved to Tucson AZ in September 2015. I live in the NW section of Tucson (technically Marana) with my husband James.

I have my associates degree and am studying to become an occupational therapist. I love improving others quality of life. It is so rewarding to see progress.

Hello! I am a friendly and hardworking person, I love to help others. I have been a CNA for almost 8 years and I have experience in all kind of cares. I enjoy working with elderly because they are just so enjoyable to work with. One thing that makes me happy is knowing that the person I take care of is happy because it just shows me that I have done my job. I love seeing people smile and happy.

While I am proud of being able to work on an ambulance on a tribal reservation, I am most proud and feel blessed that I was able to care for my own grandmother for the final fifteen years of her life.

Hello, my name is Misty and I am a forty seven year mother of four. I suppose that is where my love of taking care of people began, raising my amazing children. I was lucky enough to get to stay home with them all, it was a gift I'll always treasure. From there I had the chance to take care of my husband's grandmother for an extended period of time. That experience touched my heart, and when I was able to go and care for my 95 year old grandmother recently I knew that I wanted to do the same for others. I truly have a heart for this work, and bringing Joy and comfort to people is a blessing to me as much as it is for them.

I am a stay at home mom and until recently, I was a child day care provider in my community. I would like the opportunity to continue providing services throughout the community and interact with our senior community. I offer a personal shopping services and able run other errands around town. You can expect to have your groceries delivered, unpacked, restocked, and organized. I am available to provide transportation around town and assist with appointments or assist with shopping.

Current activities aide and love this part time work. Additionally have cosmetology license to help with hair and nails to boost feelings of well being. Energetic and helpful.
