I worked as a Caregiver in my 20's for about 5 years, and it was my most memorable job. I really enjoyed helping people, talking with them, and I made many friends. I recently decided to go back to doing what I love. I can help you get out of the house, or we can enjoy the day inside. I know how hard it can be when you aren't able to do every day tasks yourself, as I am a cancer survivor myself. Cancer free 15 years!

My experience with patients gives me the confidence to be knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. I am used to working in a fast-paced work environment. My job history includes working for a Hospital in the North San Diego County area as a CNA as well as various technical positions, before meeting my husband and moving to San Clemente in 2012. A bit more about my professional background includes extensive and continuous training in Alzheimers and dementia patients, and a specialty with spinal cord injury patients and much more. I've been a personal/ private caregiver for multiple patients that range from San Diego to Orange County. I am currently a nursing student at California State University, San Bernardino. I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, reading, and volunteering with Coyote Nurses, a nursing student organization at CSUSB. I chose to pursue a career in nursing and become a caregiver because I have always loved helping people, especially those who need it the most. I enjoy giving my time to others, and offering support. Back in 2010, my Grandpa passed away. My family and I were the primary caregivers for him for about two weeks before his passing. I realized then that I wanted to commit my life to not only helping patients, but their families as well. That was the moment I knew I wanted to be a nurse. The thing I like most about being a caregiver is the personal fulfillment I feel after caring for someone. I finish my task and/or shift knowing I made a difference, even if it doesn't feel like it! One personal achievement I am proud of is entering my last year of nursing school! I will graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in June 2016. Nursing school took a lot of commitment, hard work, and perseverance. That's something I will always be proud of.

Why did I become a caregiver? I become a care giver when I was walking down the street and saw a young boy fell on his bicycle and hit his head over the pavement. I run and helped him and called 911. The light bulb on my head lighted up and I said to myself, " This is what I'm gonna do to become a caregiver/ nurse." I needed to do more, so I took a CNA class, And ever since, I have worked as CNA from 1999-until now.

I love my job and care about every patient and would like to expand my knowledge with professionally caregiving. I'm a bright, outgoing, knowledgable, fast learner and most importantly a trustworthy person. I know I would be a great caregiver because I have experience within my personal life.

I've known I wanted to go into the medical field, since I was a little girl, I always said I wanted to be a doctor. Then I realized that nursing was more hands on. I currently just finished my CNA class, but I have been working as a caregiver for over a year through agencies and by word of mouth. I originally took the class as a perquisite for nursing school, but the longer I work the more interested I have become in this rewarding career. Besides going to school and working as a caregiver I also compete in track and field in the spring.

Im a mom of two boys. I love cooking and cleaning. I love taking care of elderly people and giving them the best care. Im currently going to college to become an RN. It makes me proud that my current senior is very happy with my care and loves everything I do for him.

Hi, my name is Cassandra! I come from a big family, I'm known for my caring , and charismatic personality. I've always been known as a dedicated person with a strong work ethic. I've became a cna because my goal is to be an RN , and being a CNA it is a good start .
