I am able to see people feel better with some assistance and believe that my greatest achievement is when a client tells me that they feel so much better after receiving help with their personal care.. I have been a Home Health Aide for 20 years and have specialized in hospice care for the last 11 years.

Hello my name is desiana and I have been doing caregiving for over 5 years now and I have absolutely loved it! I've gone threw having to take care of 3 special members of my own family so I understand completely the importance of care when it comes to your loved ones. I have been in this field off and on for 13 years. I love being able to help someone in the comfort of their own home.

My experiences come from personal experiences. I took care of my father with Dementia. Bathed, dressed, bathed, feed him and basically took care of all his needs. While taking him back and forth to Dr's. Approximately 3 years I took care of my elderly Grandmother until we placed her into a Home Care Center. That is how I learned how to cook. Approximately 2 years. My aunt suffered of strokes and I cared for her from time to time after she had one. Some were more severe than others. Helped with exercise, both mentally and physically. Help with her speech and ability to keep balance while walking. Off and on for approximately 9-10 years. I have helped my family members with their medical ailments and would like to help others as well be comfortable as can be.

I like to take care of peoples who need help. I am in nursing field for 11 years. I am mother of two small kids. I’m a passionate, optimistic & dedicated woman who takes up responsibilities with utmost enthusiasm.

Helping people live full, independent and dignified lives within the comfort of their own homes, also I enjoy helping the elderly which I had the opportunity to be a Caretaker for my grandparents, also I've enjoyed previously working in various hospitals as well. The work is very rewarding. I'm proud to say that I rssised two sons, which they've blessed me to be a grandmother and a great grandmother, it's such a pleasure spening time with the children & seeing them grow. I also was a Team Leader when I was working and did achive my goals by having the opportunity to grow within the company. I enjoy cooking, crafts, reading, taking walks, also I enjoy making jewelry knitting & crocheting. I've always loved taking are of people, it's been my calling since I was in High School, and I also did volunteer work as a Candystriper.

I'm Hazel Ramirez. I have 11 years experience as a caregiver. BIO: My job descriptions are as follows. 1.) I'm able to do ADL's (Activity Daily Living) to elders. 2.) I'm able to assist in feeding elders. 3.) I'm able to assist elders for transfer from bed to wheelchair and vice versa. 4.) I'm able to reposition elders in bed every 2 hours. 5.) I can perform to do grocery, to take elders doctor's appointmentst, prepare medications and daily I'm food meals of elders. 6.) I know how to do vital signs of elders. 7.) I communicate in English well. 8.) Giving a medicine, assists them if they it. 9.) Entertain them. Play puzzles and cards. 10.) Working 12 hours 11.) Read some newspaper every morning. 12.) Prepared there foods and light cleaning! 13.) working dementia also. 14.) Responsible being there with the clients and tender care, loving, respect & dignity. 15.) I'm a driver also.

I believe that providing quality care and safety to my residents is what makes me a great caregiver. It's also attending to their everyday needs and providing a relationship with not only the resident but to the family as well. I became a caregiver since I wanted to gain experience in the medical field so I can work my way up to becoming an RN. I am also passionate about helping others around me and making sure they are cared for so becoming a CNA was a great way for me to experience that. I am CNA certified and First Aid/CPR certified. I can only assist in feeding and preparing meals that are planned by the family, but not to cook meals since that is not within my job description as a CNA. I cannot take roles for passing out medication since that requires certification, but other than medications I can carry out other CNA tasks.

I'm a great caregiver because I am a very patient person. I love to cook healthy foods. I don't mind cleaning and getting out. I love what I do and that is very important. I have worked with seniors for over 10 years and I feel I am very compassionate and caring. My parents are my world and I'm so glad I have been in the medical field for 10 plus years. It made me very knowledgeable regarding health and billing and other related senior issues. I am very proud of myself because I have great communication skills and I work very hard to do the best job. My passion is working with seniors/ special needs children and also people with mental health problems.

I am a sociable person who has a natural capability of providing continuous care. Empathy is embedded in my personality and I'm a good listener. I have a track record of providing elderly and child care and immensely enjoy each moment of work. I have been working in health care three years as a caregiver provides assistance in activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, toileting assistance, feeding and changing, prescribed medicine administration, housekeeping and laundry.

My personal Philosophy is to do what you enjoy and it won't be consider "work". My personal commitment is to provide the best care possible. I have always enjoyed and felt the need to care for people. My younger brother had brain cancer when he was 8yrs old and I was 17. I was one of the main caregivers for him during his recovery and during his numerous strokes. He lived with me for ten years. Over time his conditioned worsened and he became bedridden and was fed through a G-tube. I was taught CPR, tube feeding, wound care and many other aspects of taking care of a critically ill person. He passed away, recently, and I miss caring for someone. To me, caregiving is very rewarding. I am very sympathetic to what the patient and family are going through, as I went through it myself. I believe I am a very good caregiver in the way that I am not afraid to go the extra mile to add some comfort and happiness in someone's life.

I have 20+ years as a caregiver and I love helping people. It makes me feel so appreciative that l can do something to make someone life better.There might be a time in my life that I need help and I would hope that someone would do the same.

I like to work with senior citizens and be an aid for them. I recognize that I am someone they can depend on because their family is not there. I became a caregiver working with my mother when I was 21 years old. I became the first male CNA in a nursing home in New Jersey.

I became a Caregiver because I wanted to enhance the quality of life of the people I work with and to help preserve their dignity. I like being a Caregiver because it gives me the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that the people that I work with we establish such great rapport that we are like family to one another. I am very passionate about what I do and I feel I was called for this truly amazing fulfilling and instantly gratifying position. I am extremely patient, compassionate and understanding. I just want to give back because I recognize the sacrifices that were made by them and that they laid the foundation. It is like the saying "once a man twice a child". We are now the parents and we must make certain that there golden years are the most memorable.
