Hi my name is Betty, Having gone through the aging process with my own parents and many others in my life. I do have the understanding, love & compassion with a big heart to help others. I LOVE being a companion & care provider! I provide medication management, light housekeeping, cooking, companionship. I will drive you to any activities, such as going out for a bite to eat or coffee, a movie, senior center. Take a walk and get some fresh air! Some of my clients do like to get out of there everyday surroundings... Hair & nail appointments, all doctor appointments, grocery shopping. I LOVE pets as well ! I have always had a passion for caring for individuals and providing support and comfort while doing so. Many of my clients and residents become comfortable with me at a swift rate. I always try to encourage activity and exercise along with interaction with aspects of entertainment. I study the client's interests and incorporate that into activities that they will enjoy. Although they are individuals with a depletion of energy and motivation to interact and carry out activities, I always like to try and implement projects and entertainment.

I 'm an experience caregiver for 3 years, I enjoy working with people and I get along well with elders when working with them one on one. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life because I enjoy making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better.

I have been an experienced caregiver for four years, caring for special needs clients and older adults. I love going to outings with clients and interacting with them. Being a caregiver is more than just a job; it's a passion and a life lesson. I was taught that each client is a soldier of God, and I'm caring for God's soldiers. Hi. My name is Carmen. I worked as a caregiver for about nine years, a work I loved. It's mentally rewarding to help others who need help. . I made many friends with my clients and their families. I also worked with hospice trying to make their end of life as peaceful as possible.

I started caregiving to help a friend's mother and ended up enjoying it. I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. Majority of my clients have had dementia from infantile to extreme aggression and Alzheimer's. I am a kind, hard working, patient person. I do not have children or a spouse (this shouldn't matter) and am very punctual. Also I am flexible in hours and time of work.

I am currently a student at College of the Canyons and am on track to becoming a nurse. I am an Army Veteran and a compassionate care giver. I have personal experience in senior hospice care for a loved one that encouraged me to continue in this job field. I also have experience in caring for children as well. I want to work in a job that is rewarding and gives back to others. I grew up caring for my ill mother and want to continue to help others in need while gaining work experience in the medical field.

I'm Brittany I've been living in Frazier Park for almost 4 years. A mother of 2. I am happy to help with light house cleaning and companionship.

I enjoy helping people. I'm very dependable, loyal, thoughtful, patient, and extremely compassionate. I do have a positive "upbeat" personality. ( I can tone it down when necessary ) I'm also a great cook, enjoy outdoors activities, playing cards, listening, talking and watching older classic movies. I been working in the Hospital since 2017 different kinds of departments that make me grow in Healthcare and advance in having more knowledge in my career. I have experience working also ina Post accurate center.

I was a full time critical care registered nurse for 11 years. After retiring from nursing in November 2014 I took on the task of caring for my mother for approximately the last four months of her life. During the four months time, I was at my mothers bedside or in her residence 24 hours a day. I was the only link that she had with any dignity, because all of the activities of daily living she could not perform. I became her surrogate, and also her companion for the last months prior to her passing. This was quite frankly the most rewarding part of my care giving career that I have ever experienced. Being part of an individual's final days on earth and being able to take care of their every need, to include a companion toward the end, is very needed commodity and one I want to pass on to others. I am also an Army veteran, having served during the Gulf war of 1990 as a 1st Lieutenan. My reserve status ended in 2015..

Being reliable, including arriving for work on time and fulfilling all duties in a timely manner. Which my skill for empathize has developed, to give the patient the best care possible, it is important for a caregiver to have a personal understanding of and connection with what his or her patient is going through. Being able to empathize allows the caregiver to put himself or herself in the patient's shoes, and identify and ease the patient's fears or discomfort. The attraction of this occupation is I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way.

My grandmother raised me when I was a little kid, so when I was slowly growing up it was time for me to take care of her. And I loved doing that. Since then I just had passion taking care of elderly. I always want to make sure they don't feel alone and enjoy living. I just love taking care of them. I am very patient. And patience is very important in this field of work. I am attentive. By being attentive, I will notice when there are emotional or physical changes in the person he or she is caring for. I am trustworthy. I always want to make sure that the patient can trust me.
