College of the Canyons

I love caring for others. I took care of both sets of my grandparents and many sick friends along with 2 of my own children. I now just take care of myself and my red nose pit bull Hope. My best friend. I love to make others happy and make sure they are taken care of. I'm very clean as well.

I am a compassionate, kind-hearted and polite person. I always want to help people to the best of my ability which is the reason for pursuing nursing as a career. I worked as a care giver for a few months before working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I feel happy when I have helped someone with less ability to help themselves and I'm satisfied when I have put smile on my client's faces. I am proud to have concluded my Associate Degree (Transfer courses) and preparing to go into Nursing school to become a Registered Nurse (RN) so I can help patients in a greater capacity.

I am a very patient, and dedicated to providing the best and most optimal care I can. My grandmother used to be a CNA and then a Nurse which inspired me to pursue a career in the medical field. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the satisfaction of helping someone who needs it.
