I try and put myself in there shoes. A grown adult who has always been independent and now someone's bathing them, driving them around, telling them when to eat and etc.. I have a lot of patience and a huge heart. Altzheimers is a awful disease. I have compassion for them. My father had altzheimers, I helped my mom take care of him. I worked for Friendship house (non-profit org.) assisted living facility. As a caregiver, night supervisor & a cook for 10+ years

Personality traits that I show are Organization, Empathy, Communication Skills, Honesty, Technical Competency, Work Ethic, Flexibility, Determination and Persistence. What attracted me to being a caregiver would be after my grandma passed away and I had been taking care of her for some time, I realized that I enjoyed spending that time helping her and I felt a satisfaction in giving her what she needed help with.

I'm looking for a full time position. I'm a certified nursing assistant with a CPR and AED card, and EKG certified. I believe in working hard and giving it your all.

1. I originally became a caregiver because I saw how the nurses were with my grandmother when she was sick and I wanted to be like that and give back 2. I like being a caregiver because I get to help and meet new people. 3. I just finished my phlebotomy training and am looking forward to starting that venture in my career. 4. I have a four year old daughter that is my life and I enjoy spending all the time I can with her.

I have always gotten along with older folks. I love the stories they tell you. I can remember many times I would sit at my family's dinner table listening and engaging in meaningful conversations with the adults. I love my current job because I make a difference in the lives of my employers and help make the life of my patient easier. I have learned many things working with a dementia patient for this past year. And I would love to get to know your family member.

I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that, I treat the ones I care for as if they are my family. I look at them as if that is my Mother, Father, or Grandparent .I started as a young girl always wanting to care for my grandparents .As I became am adult it is still with me .I've cared for both my parents as they were extremely sick until my father passed. Knowing I was the one to care for him to give him all his needs is a priceless feeling. It brings me joy knowing I am the one to care for their needs, make them laugh, or just sit right next to them knowing I am right there for them. Just to see smiles on their faces is priceless.

I am a 54 year old grandma which I'm super proud to be. I have done caregiving for many years for employment and I have taken care of my family members from time to time. I currently have a job with Home Depot also I'm self contracted with Instacart. You emailed me about a job in Lompoc p/t Thursday 1pm-5pm $23.00 he. That sounds perfect for me.

I've been in the medical field since 1991 ..As a CNA/HHA Ive worked in both a SNF and in ACUTE CARE on the medical/Surgical unit. I then cross trained into CCU/ICU,OB,PACU,ER and my last 4 years i worked as the med/surg unit coordinator.I started doing homecare in 2006 i absolutely love it..I enjoy the one on one care its a very rewarding job.
