I bacame a caregiver because I like to help people and also to meet new people. You learn something new everyday. I like that you get to spend one on one time with a person and to get to know them more. I enjoy what I do, I am also cpr/first aid certified and recently bcame a DSP. I am very patient, friendly, caring, and fun to get along with and very easy going.

I became a Caregiver due to taking care of my father at the age of 12 years old. I learned to start and regulate an IV drip and I administered insulin shots to my father. When my father health declined due to complications of Diabetes, my family and I had to place him in a skilled facility. My mother was concerned for my fathers safety and daily care, she asked me to apply for a job in the facility my father would be in. I did get a position at the facility and have been working in nursing every since!!! I like being a Care Provider because it is apart of my spirit and I am very people oriented. My personal achievement is to have been in the field of nursing for 16 years. The one thing that I can tell you about myself is I go above and beyond the expectations of what is asked of me and when I am providing care for someone, the client is my priority and has my undivided attention.

I have 10 years of care giving experience. I enjoy working with elderly people and assisting them with their daily activities. I am hard working and dedicated to my work. I will go up and beyond to provide good care to my patients.

I became a caregiver because i love to work with people. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is the stores they tell and just getting to know them and there life. I am a mom of 4 children. i am working as a caregiver right now on tues and thurs from 9-2 and i love my job.

I like to be very light-hearted, using humor when appropriate, to keep my clients happy and create a very positive atmosphere. I had a great mentor whom my out-of-state parents had hired. They always looked forward to their interactions with her, as much as the duties she performed . She treated them with respect and friendliness - like family! I also had great enjoyment teaching senior citizens how to write their memoirs. That was my first introduction to working with a retired population in an informative and fun recreational exercise. As a credentialed teacher I had been recruited to take on that activity which was such a rich experience of inspiration, humor and a surprise at every turn! I never really knew what a great resource the adult population has to offer. I am filled with gratitude! I was inspired to return to classes and take anatomy and physiology to aid my skills and certification with patient care. I am CPR certified with the American Red Cross and current with all inoculations including Hep C and TB chest x-ray. This month I am finishing up the classes I teach for the Vista Unified School District.

My personality traits or expertise that help me to be a great caregiver is being Patience,Compassion,Dependable and trustworthy. What attracted me to be a caregiver is that I enjoy making someone smile and help make a their day better. The greatest personal achievement I am proud of is being able to help and to make a person life better.

Iv been a caregiver for many families since I was 17. I always put the patient first. Proactive with any job experience executing quality care in high-pressure situations. Proudly demonstrated commitment, compassion and reasoned thinking while performing tasks rapidly to enhance patient outcomes. I love willing to learn new things and i learn by doing things. I'm a people person, I'm caring and loving. I think we should all be treated like we are special , because we are!!Kindness and love are always easy to give!!! Hello there, my name is Desaree or Desi. Let me tell you a little about myself as a caregiver. I have been caregiving pretty much my whole life. I started helping out my mother take care of my aunt who was sick at the time. She had very bad Diabetes and was on a picc line, my mother had to wrap her foot and clean it every single day so it would not turn into gangrene and that's when I learned to wrap wounds I was about 16 and still in high school. When my other aunt needed help from my mother I joined along in helping her before she passed away and same as with my grandmother. I was raised by my mother and grandmother to always respect my elders and to always love and take care of family. I went to college for Medical Assistant in order to become an RN one day. I love every min of studying and learning how to help others. I have always had a passion in becoming somebody big in care taking one day, whether it be being a head Nurse or Police Officer. I love to be able to help others and let them know that even if family won't be there or just simply can't because of everyday life that somebody like me along with many others want to remind them that their lives matter to us in this world and that their lives are still important. Elderly have given so much of their lives to the community with being wise and being able to spread knowledge to someone like me with the era they grew up. I feel they deserve respect and kindness and patience because this generation today has lost respect for them along with themselves. I want to remind people that caretakers are full of love and patience. I have a passion for caring for others and I was born with the love in me to spread in the world. My motto in life is to forgive others as God would you. And be kind to others as you would want them to be kind to you. Without happiness in our elders before they go is unfair. I love what I do because being with any elder is like spending time with my grandmother.

I'm 40 year's old I have three children. I had became a caregiver in 2001 to take care of people that's in need to their services. I'm a loving person with a big heart. I stayed in this field because it's always been a big demand that's in need for children, elderly and many more. I love to put a smile on the person face that I'm caring for that they will feel encourage and better for themselves.

I am very professional; compassionate; calm and have a good sense of humor! I have worked in a medically related field; taught school and particularly enjoyed working with adult students in writing memoirs. Editing and sharing memoirs turned my attention toward working with the needs of senior citizens. I discovered wisdom, heroism and the goodness of human achievement through enormous laughter and occasional tears amongst participants in the sharing of their writings. Recently I added certificates in health courses to my resume in essential health care, anatomy, physiology and phlebotomy. While I am personally professional and entertaining, I wanted to bolster my medical knowledge with measurable competencies, CNA courses, and health certifications to assure patient confidence in my care giving..

A little bit about myself. I am a 33 year old woman. I have a 15 year old son who has Cognitive abilities disorder who I take care of on my own. I also watch over my mother who has diabetes, glaucoma, and osteoporosis. I have been a CNA for almost 4 years. I have worked in skilled nursing facilities and one Alzheimer facility. I am currently attending Stanbridge College in hopes in receiving my Associates in Occupational Science, to become an OTA. I decided to become a caregiver because I love helping others that can no longer care for them selves. It feels really good to hear, "Thank you" and it's followed with a smile. I feel like some elderly are put put away in nursing homes and are forgotten. I'm here to let them know that they are not forgotten, they are loved, and that they do mean something to someone. Even if it's someone that's not their family member. I am proud that I am a CNA. This isn't just a job to pay my bills. This is a passion that comes from within.

I became a caregiver because i love helping and accompanying elderly people. I have a 95 year old grandmother who is like a mother to me and i would appreciate a compassionate caregiver providing the best care possible. I need to work, therefore i cannot do it myself, however, I know there is a lot of grandmas like mine that need the best care, and I promise to provide that for them.

I grew up in a law enforcement family. I believe in taking care of people in need. I am trustworthy and Honest. I have been in the retail asset protection field for over 30 years. I would love the chance to be a caregiver. and work in for the next 15-20 years. I love to help Seniors, weather it be walking across the street ,cooking, cleaning or just listening to them. I never thought about changing my career until this past year. cooking, cleaning, assisting seniors with just about anything that are needed daily.
