Caring for my patient like my own family makes me a great caregiver. I became a caregiver 19 years ago when I started to take care of a 103 y/o elderly woman who treated me as their own family, too. I love caregiving because I am able to care and provide tender loving care to elderly individuals. Caregiving is not easy, one should have the right attitude and the love for this career. A caregiver should be patient, loving, honest and trustworthy because most of these elderly people live by themselves and their lives and safety are in the hands of the caregiver. I have been in this field of caring for elder patients for 20 years this coming January 2021.

I am very caring, and one of the things I love to do is to take care of people. Growing up as the youngest, I took care of my older siblings in my little ways. Preparing them food, waking them up for school, etc. I also took care of my father before he passed away in 2010. I have been a caregiver for 7 years.
