My whole life I have loved to care for others. As a child I would often pretend to be a doctor and perform "surgery" on my grandparents or dog. I realized as I grew up that what I liked most about medicine were the nurses and CNA's. To me, CNAs make health care go round. We get the most patient centered time and have the ability to make the greatest impact on patients lives. I love care giving because I can make a difference. I am able to make some one go from uncomfortable to comfortable and from feeling lonely to feeling loved. The difference that I am able to make in my patients lives transfers to my life. Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than the knowledge that I was able to help some one to smile. Asside from care giving, I love school. I am super proud of myself for maintaining a 4.0 GPA my freshman year of college and hope to continue with that through the rest of my college career. I hope to further my education by one day becoming a Nurse Practitioner but first, I just have to get into UNCO's highly competitive nursing program. I am super excited to see where life takes me in my caregiving career, this is just the beginning.

I'm a compassionate caregiver with 10 years of experience with in-home care and assisted living environments. I love caregiving because it's an opportunity to give back what has been so graciously given to me. I gained an appreciation for seniors when my mother was a CNA in a nursing home and I would play piano for them at lunch time . It was so rewarding seeing their eyes light up with joy. My experience includes eldercare, Alzheimer's\dementia patients and special needs adults. Skills; transportation to appointments, meal preparation, companionship, errands, shopping, medical management, and grooming. It gives me great joy caring for the elderly and I look forward to the possibility of caring for your loved one.

Personality traits are that I am compassionate, honest, opened minded about things, do my best in all things, very creative, and ambitious about things. What caught my attention was how I can have the opportunity to learn in working as a caregiver. Understand and learn the qualities in working as a caregiveer. Being a Senior citizen, I have many years experience as a nurturing caregiver. I'm driven and a hard-worker with a very positive attitude. I have empathy, compassion and patience. I'm dependable, trustworthy and flexible. I take extreme pride for how I care for my patients. I care about the emotional, mental and physical well being of all my patients. I have references for elderly and disabled care-giving, and experienced in but are not limited to Dementia, Alzheimer, Parkinson, Cancer, stroke, surgery recover and end of life. I also provide companionship to the elderly while performing light/heavy housekeeping tasks and running errands. I have had recent clear background check with no blemishes in my life. I have a great sense of humor and fun to be around. I am also a Cancer Survivor. Your family will love me! I love dogs/animals, and can also do some dog grooming. I am a Florida licensed Notary and Realtor. I'm also available on short notice and very punctual. I love life and grateful to be in remission now. I can even bring a well behaved dog to lay by your side!

Hi! I have been a CNA for over 5 years and I am currently in nursing school to become a registered nurse! I have long term, rehabilitation, hospital, and home health experience. My love for the geriatric population is what influenced my decision to pursue nursing. However, I am well versed and interested in any job regardless of age or task.
