I've always been a very caring person growing up as little girl, I knew that was my calling this is what I'm suppose to do and also I have wonderful friendship with my patients.

I become a caregiver because this is has been my passion and it gives me a sense of joy helping people. I've been a HHA for over 20 years, I have experience in all phases of adult and geriatric care. I'm a great cook, very meticulous, reliable and work well with others. I have excellent references and also have extensive experience in quadriplegic care.

I started out being a caregiver for my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer's and she opened my eyes to what it means to love, to truly care, and to appreciate everyday. Since her passing it has become a passion of mine, companion care, and even though I've only had 2 clients they were both long term and I love them, cared for them, and miss them just as much as I did and do my grandmother. Since being their caregiver I have started nursing school going 2 days a week. I am also part of the National Student Nurses Association and take pride in keeping my knowledge up to date. What is it that makes me stand out from others is my true love and compassion. I am big on family so your loved one with never be treated as if they are a client but as if they are my own.

Hello. My name is Andrew Gordon, and I have been a professional caregiver and licensed medication technician for three years. I have worked in two Assisted Living Facilities, and I am certified in CPR/first aid. I also completed an Alzheimer's training simulation where I was put in special gear to replicate the symptoms of the disease. It was an intense and eye-opening experience. I am now looking to move away from ALF's and focus on 1-on-1 care. When I became a professional caregiver I wasn't sure what to expect. I quickly fell in love with caring for the elderly, and it provided fulfillment that I was lacking in my life. I was approached with an opportunity to work in the Memory Care unit early in my career, and at first I was hesitant. It didn't take long before I developed a soft spot for people with Alzheimer's disease, and I discovered that I work really well with them.

I've worked privately and I'm public home care agencies ever since I turned the age 18. I do it for the passion of my elders
